Springfield, MA(Zone 6a)

I would join again - but I would have just the same seeds I had before (well except the stuff I will get from the previous unusual seed swap) so unless there are a lot of new people, I don't think anyone would want my seeds.

Carmel, NY(Zone 6b)

I'm afraid I'm with Seandor, but I'm sure ya'll are in for a real treat!

hickory, NC(Zone 7a)

well all of us probably wont get any of your seeds some will but i dont think we ALL will, will we? thxs

Jasper, AR(Zone 7a)

well since my seeds from the first swap just now made it to Theresa--I'm in--tho probably won't send more than these 10 since these took exactly 2 weeks to get there :(

Hi, want to sign up, have dug down into my private stash and come up with a few more seeds I think are unique that I didn't include last time. Tho I am sending the last packet of Chocolate Daisy since that was on the most requested list.
Nancy (aka Nuthatch_mo)

Theresa - you big tease!!! That's just not fair... LOL!

South West, LA(Zone 9a)

I well I have no problem joining in again! I will be sending off my seeds alot sooner this time lol!
Caren

St. Louis County, MO(Zone 5a)

What makes a seed unusual? The fact that I didn't kill it? A funny name?

Carmel, NY(Zone 6b)

Can the seeds be unnamed? I have some seeds from a neighbor, who took them from his grandmother's "antique old fashioned Hollyhocks". Would these qualify?

I don't think there would be a problem with everyone who joined last time being in it again if they wanted too. We had 26 people last time and unless you sent in 26 packs of every kind of seed you sent not everybody received your seeds. I'm sure from the way the last swap was so organized that Thresea kept of list of what she sent to who. Am also sure there will be lots of new people when they get a look at the great seeds sent in last time. I am sending in some of the ones I sent last time plus a few new ones.

Cathy4-some of the fun of this swap is that I requested what YOU think is unusual. Could be the name, not very often heard of, plant itself looks unusual, flowers look unusual, pods look unusual, well you get the idea....whatever YOU think is unusual.

Sequee-hmmmm...I'd rather stay away from unnamed, altho if you think it is truly unusual, then go for it.

Beebe54-you said it very well...I don't think there would be a problem with everyone who joined last time being in it again if they wanted too. We had 26 people last time and unless you sent in 26 packs of every kind of seed you sent not everybody received your seeds. Springfield, MA(Zone 6a)

Okay - I have some seeds I can share :-)

Count me in, please. you talked me into it

Georgetown, IN(Zone 6a)

I want in too. I will see what I have. I missed the last one, But I gotcha this time!! Kelly

Marine City, MI(Zone 5a)

angel_tree_baby-yes, 5-10 or more seeds per pack is acceptable. No one expects alot of seeds from an unusual plant.
Happy to see such a nice response here. My hubby was happy to see that I did this swap and laughed when I said I started another one too. :)

Springfield, MA(Zone 6a)

Okay if I join if all I have to offer is datura seeds?

Marine City, MI(Zone 5a)

seandor, if I remember correctly, you sent yellow datura seeds.....those are unusual :)

Springfield, MA(Zone 6a)

Okay - count me in :-)

Nelson, NH(Zone 5a)

I would love to join again! Count me in-Kath

Marine City, MI(Zone 5a)

flowerhead410-I keep forgetting to tell you your the only other person I have seen that has wire vine. Its just soooo cute isnt it!
I comes back late in the spring, thats how I got two of them LOL...thought the first one was dead. Then about a month later there it was!

Jasper, AR(Zone 7a)

I am so glad to see some folks back from the first swap!! Since my seeds took the scenic route (and 2 weeks) to get to Theresa-- I missed out last time, and was really disappointed. I sure would like the chance to get some of those babies!! Oh and I am biting the bullet;) I will be sending some more seeds out next Weds-- I have been digging DEEEEEP into the vault... I am excited all over again... and about those asters Theresa... BTW-- I will definately rethink the manner in which I mail this bunch out!
Tommie

Nelson, NH(Zone 5a)

Theresa-I LOVE the wire vine! We have both the larger one and the smaller one and the larger is less hardy than the smaller. Which do you have? It sure does come back VERY late in 5a doesn't it-I'm curious what it does even just a little warmer. We have quite a few of each plant and the first spring we thought they were all dead, then the next spring we were more patient! They are one of my all time favorites! But I could probably say that about too many plants! lol I am an artist though and I am so big on texture and those little leaves are definitely texturally pleasing!
I think I am addicted to the unusual seed swap now! What will we do when it's done this time : (

Marine City, MI(Zone 5a)

Must have been some quirk Tommie. Your envelope was postmarked Oct. 24, but didnt arrive until 2 days ago. LOL....
So if ya get them out in the next week you should be all set LOL.
Have a good evening.

Marine City, MI(Zone 5a)

I have the small wire vine. they sell them every year at my local nursery for $2.49
Same here, thought mine was dead, but nope just needed more patience.
I love texture and especially variegated....
I cant even count how many variegated plants I have in my yard. The unusual swap gave me variegated money plant. Cant wait to see what that looks like....
um.....maybe next I'll host a variegated seeds swap....LOL

Theresa,
I have some seeds for a variegated Salvia that someone sent me as a bonus in a trade. I am not sure what kind it is. I am not going to plant them so if you want them I will send them on to you when I send in the trade seeds.
Nancy

Marine City, MI(Zone 5a)

Be happy to have them Nancy! I dont turn down seeds, especially variegated :)
thanks!

Nelson, NH(Zone 5a)

Oh yes-texture and variegated. Me too! I also love purple leaves! I love the idea of a variegated swap-or maybe non-plain green leaf swap (doesn't really roll off the tongue does it?)lol-but I think that's a great idea!

Marine City, MI(Zone 5a)

I have a neat variegated horseradish. Its fun to see it unfold in the spring.
I have a neat japanese variegated knotweed that comes up with bright pink stems. It then gets pink leaves that change to white/green. Really cool plant.
I have variegated thyme, pineapple mint, money plant, hydrangea, ajuga, brunnera, solomons seal, toad lily, jacobs ladder, loosestrife, canna, obedient plant, petasites, butterfly bush, morning glory, iris, coreopsis, sedum and more.
What about you?
