Me neither - wait, I might have, but it might have left no lasting impression!

Harper, synthetic undies are great. An absolute must for hiking and sports. Cotton gets wet and stays wet. These wick the moisture away. There is a phrase in the outdoors world - 'Cotton kills'. Synthetics also retain their shape better.

Milton, MA(Zone 6a)

I agree with Harper - since I don't hike, hunt, ski, canoe, or any of those other things. Cotton, wool or silk. Tried those others, Victor, and if you're not exercising and working up a sweat, which I'm usually not, they don't really have an advantage.

The sweatiest part of me is my forehead! (TMI.)

Questa, NM(Zone 5b)

Well, I guess I just learned something new. So, are you sayin' my undies are soggy and shapeless?

Milton, MA(Zone 6a)

Harper, I'll bet mine are shapelesser!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

I don't know you THAT well, Harper! And I think the contents have a lot to do with the shape.

Milton, MA(Zone 6a)

Harper is in good shape; I've seen her!

Questa, NM(Zone 5b)

He, he. Sorry Victor. I couldn't help it.

Thanks Carrie!

Don't look at me from the back. Lack of a part .

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Got a flu shot yesterday. Sore left shoulder today! Feel bad when the kids have to get four or five at one time!

Milton, MA(Zone 6a)

I have some to spare - shall I send some for postage? How much - two, three pounds?

Monsters, Inc is one of the best movies I've seen in a long time. Even though our granddaughters are grown (youngest is 13 now), we buy all the animated movies...love 'em.

I don't have any undies to spare. I don't like to do laundry, so I have lots (cotton, yea!) and don't wash until I run out. Now we all know way too much about one another.

Victor, I thought I was your computer friend. I've got DH looking at photos with me. I recognize too many of the pics to be objective. And he's the real photographer in the family, so he critiques. Besides, he really enjoys seeing all the great photos.

I just watched 'Ratatouille' this weekend and loved it. I too am one to buy or rent all the animated films that come out, Disney movies being my favorite.

The Monadnock Region, NH(Zone 5a)

yep. Ratatouille is on our to-view list as well, along with 'Enchanted'! Oh my gosh! I laugh every time I see the cyclists!!!

No thanks - would not be able to bend over, I would split my jeans.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Ratatouille was fantastic. It's my favorite Pixar one after The Incredibles.

Milton, MA(Zone 6a)

You guys are supposedly ADULTS! No Fellini, Bergman, or even more modern famous directors? John Malkovich? No, Disney, Disney, Disney! Yeeesh.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

I believe Disney is planning remakes of all Fellini movies. Goofy will be pointing to the sub-titles and Disney's own resident Italian fibber, Pinocchio, will do an introspective introduction in each. Can't wait!

My DH went out of town yesterday, and I'm not working today, what do you think I have been doing almost all day long?

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Might it involve gardening??

S of Lake Ontario, NY(Zone 6a)

All in my head!
Going between the forums to plant files to nursery sites. And I feel no guilt!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Did my final planting today - Daffs and one Monkshood. No more until Spring! Only chores left are some cutting back, pruning and fertilizing the lawn.

(Arlene) Southold, NY(Zone 7a)

We always enjoyed watching films with my granddaughter, especially the one she called "Waldbaum's" at three years old: "Homeward Bound".

What other films do you enjoy, Victor?

I'm not even close to finishing up in the garden.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

My wife and I love the old classics. Musicals and film noir are some of our favorite types. My older son would call my wife whenever he saw a b & w movies coming on!

(Arlene) Southold, NY(Zone 7a)

I love the old b/w's.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

The Third Man is one of my many faves.

(Arlene) Southold, NY(Zone 7a)

The Harry Lime Theme - loved it.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Loved the line about 500 years of brotherhood in Switzerland and all they had to show for it was the cuckoo clock! I have read that Orson ad libbed that.

(Arlene) Southold, NY(Zone 7a)

It is a great line and he was quick witted - a lot like you.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Thanks. I am a big Orson fan. He wouldn't play the Hollywood games. The movies he directed are fantastic.

The Monadnock Region, NH(Zone 5a)

You are so right! And, not too many recently made movies for adults stick out in my mind at all ... yet I could probably quote whole film sequences from "Mulan".

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

'Second Hand Lion's' with Michael Caine, Robert Duvall, Haley Joel Osment, Kyra Sedgwick... I've watched this film 3 times.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

There are good ones these days - just few and far between.

North Augusta, ON

I loved "Second Hand Lions"!!
Hate to admit it, but I also found "Crank" really entertaining too----

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Who's in Second Hand Lions?

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Victor, look about 3 post up.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Oh, duh, sorry. When was that out?

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

The movie or the post? LOL

Since we started talking about movies it got me to thinking and I started a new thread on that what I was pondering. Please join me and give an input here:

Today is my wife's birthday and she's away until tomorrow! My boys are disappointed that she's not here but we'll celebrate tomorrow.
