Dinner hour is always late for us, Candyce. DW gets home late.

At least you make it a point to eat together as a family, Victor. We do, too. I think it's a shame how many families do not. We even turn off the TV and receive no phone calls between 6 PM and 7 PM.

Family time is waaaaayyyyy too important.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Absolutely. Never to tv's and dinner.

S of Lake Ontario, NY(Zone 6a)

Us either, except to watch a football game! Like tonight.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Hope you have the NFL Network or you're not seeing it.

S of Lake Ontario, NY(Zone 6a)

We do. And we'll probably have dinner earlier than the game tonight, thought DH was playing handball later, but he's playing this afternoon.

Appleton, WI(Zone 5a)

Game is on local TV here, wish Green Bay wasn't banged up or I would have more confidence in them.

S of Lake Ontario, NY(Zone 6a)

Can't be worse than Monday night's game.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

You mean that nail-biting thriller??

S of Lake Ontario, NY(Zone 6a)

A big joke.

Southwest , NH(Zone 5b)

My DH is a big Green Bay fan, and he just discovered that we get the NFL channel, so he stumbled onto the game. What luck!

I have a confession to make.......now that it's just the two of us, we have succumbed to eating dinner while watching the evening news.......gulp. I do admire making family dinner time a priority.....used to do it too, but when you retire and the nest is empty, you take all kinds of license!!

I was laughing so hard at the Mrs Pigg comments, I had to read the whole dialogue to my DH.......I had tears in my eyes, and now I can't see as well. LOL

Can you imagine the signing of Christmas cards! From Memory and Tommy and all the little Piggs.

The Monadnock Region, NH(Zone 5a)

That's hilarious!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Pigglets?

(Arlene) Southold, NY(Zone 7a)

I used Google and the article on pigs I found said baby pigs are called pigs. I always thought they were piglets, too, Victor.

Oink.

The Monadnock Region, NH(Zone 5a)

Piglet is Pooh's friend.

Southwest , NH(Zone 5b)

Love Pooh! So funny as to the Christmas cards, Pirl! Just think - Cat's Tommy Pigg probably did get married and probably sends Christmas cards with little Piggs all over them! This is one example where the husband should take the wife's name!

(Arlene) Southold, NY(Zone 7a)

My sister's neighbor had 13 children and their last name of Burden made the Christmas cards more fun:

From Millie and Al and the 13 little Burden's.

LOL!
