Hi everybody!!!
I got the news from Lin before I checked the Bingo thread... but I won a prize??? Yay for me! I really did need some good news! Thank you to Lin for watching my card, and to Jill for being back-up!
I have not been feeling weel since yesterday about noon, so I didn't even come back out to check my mail yesterday. I got my flu shot early yesterday morning, and my arm got so hot and sore, and I ran a bit of fever. We are also getting much cooler temps not, and RAIN!!! For the first time in about two months, RAIN! The doctors warned me that the cooler weather and dampness of winter months would give me greater pain and less mobility... boy, he wasn't kidding! I do recommend the flu shot for everyone though... it's worth it to feel bad for a day or so, to NOT get the flu later this winter and be out for a week or longer. So here I am, achy and all, on the high-horse to say... "Ladies, get your flu shot!" ROFL!
Thanks again for a great game... to Brenda for hosting... to Lee Ann for holding... and for Lin calling my Bingo! I will miss it, but I won't play anymore until I get straight with cable/internest at home... it's not fair to others.
I miss you guys so much... feeling this bad makes me start to feel sorry for myself... but you all, and DG in general really cheer me up.

I hear you about the Flu shot! All of our fire departments are giving the flu and pneumonia shots and Wal-Marts .... I keep saying I MUST stop and get it taken care of and still haven't done it. They tell us we should do it down here before the end of November so I still have time! I haven't had a flu shot in 3 years and have been lucky - haven't been sick in a long while! But, it sure is a good idea for everyone to get it ... and if you are over a certain age, the pneumonia shot too!

Plantladylin.............it looks like you are heading up November.........my gift will be however many plants I can get in one big box..........they may be avs.......trailers, standards, etc......streps, etc................I think that will be fun!!!!!!!! My shelves are bursting at the seams.............Since I will be sending them in 2 or 3 " containers (or even solo) I can get a lot in one box...............

Hi Megin: The host is the one who chooses a list of 35 plants (the master list). All players choose 15 from the master list and each day the host makes one or two calls.
The host and card holder do not play.

Hi Jan ... so glad you are feeling better! Hang in there and don't over do! We sure did miss you chatting with us during this game, but everone knows you have not been feeling well. But, see .... isn't it great, you could still play bingo and not even know it! Can't wait to see what you get with your prize ... is it going to be AV's/Gessies or some new Begonia babies? I know you will have fun "shopping" for your prize!

I'm down in Boise and just got a minute to check in! We have to pack up DD house that sold. She has already moved to Denver so it's DH and I and her brother and sister with their spouses to do the work! All worth it though as we have all had use of the house until it sold, so nice to come down and stay the night when shopping for the next big plant find at HD or Lowes. LOL I found a big beautiful Alsobia Dianthiflora last night that I'm hoping hadn't been in Lowes too long! I can see new buds forming on it even with some wilted and dried leaves. We'll see??
I should be home on Monday to do the shipping Diane but it may be Tuesday after this long weekend!!

I only own one colander so I can mix and match them and I have only played this one month of Bingo but I would TRY to host it if my friend Brenda could give me a little insight as to how to do it as wonderfully as she does (even though she's a Rockies fan and all *lol*).......BUT that is her ONLY fault that I have seen yet *lmao, winking at Brenda as she KNOWS what I mean *lol*
