I've gone back and looked and I still show those three left to be called .... and wouldn't you know it, that's the three I have left on my card!

Maybe you can sneak another one in during the night when we are all asleep? Since you are a couple of hours earlier than most of us, we probably wouldn't see it until morning anyway! Just teasing. We may already have more Bingo's and folks just haven't had a chance to check their cards yet! Anyway, I'm sure someone else will be hollering Bingo in the morning!

Well have been away from puter for a week or so and look what happens??? BINGO... Good going ladies.... Way to go...

Forgot to say: I will gladly hold the cards for November's game if we can find a host!

November is out for me both playing or hosting................big state convention and all the kids and grands are coming in for Thanksgiving...............including all the second cousins down the road, etc....................it will be a blast but I start cooking after the state convention the first week of November...............................

Good morning Gail! Oh yeah, it's just 10:45 p.m. I have been sitting here watching the cutest movie on the Hallmark channel. It's called "Annie's Point" with Betty White and Richard Thomas (Jon Boy Walton). A great movie ... sad but happy at the same time .... some really cute scenes! Betty White, in this movie is reminding me a lot of my Mom.

Also allot of the leaf's that were sent are still alive... I can't believe it... Lin I lost one of the baby Av's you sent me but the rest are alive and doing great..... Gail I have not killed all of yours either... Yeah for me... Now if only the 90 some seeds I have would start to sprout... they are passion flower seeds so I may have to wait awhile... Oh well...

Oh, I wasn't even thinking of Thanksgiving. We have Basketball beginning Nov 3rd and will be going to a lot of games. We are going to my sisters in Lauderdale the day before Thanksgiving but will be coming home Friday! So, I can still hold cards .... that's easy! I will be doing a lot of cooking for the holiday but Thank Goodness my youngest sister is coming down too and she helps with all the cooking. My oldest sister doesn't cook at all. It was always Mom, my youngest sis and me. Two years ago when hubby and I went down I did all the work alone (cooking and cleaning)because my youngest sister couldn't get down until after the holiday. I cooked for 13 people with no help at all. My oldest sister has some health issues. Kinda thought my 38 year old niece would help but nope! The men were all in and out, fishing and watching football and I did the grocery shopping and all the cooking and baking! I was so exhausted by the time we got home I told my husband never again! It's just too much on me. I will only do it from now on if I have help! My youngest sister's daughter will be there this year and she says she will help - she is a good cook like her mom but is only 20 years old and sleeps until 1 O'clock in the afternoon. Her mom says she needs her rest ... guess college takes a lot of energy!

Maybe you were like me Gail ... I'm us sometimes until 2 a.m. with the t.v. going! My problem is I can't sleep during the day .... never have been able to take naps! So, I am sleep deprived a lot of the time!

Good morning everyone!!!!!!!

Fortunately my kids always tell me, "Mom, you are not much fun when you are stressed out".

Consequently one daughter is bringing homemade tamales and I will add to a Mexican meal on Wednesday night. She is the cleaner and organizer of everything...............but doesn't like to cook. She picks up after the kids, etc..................and keep the house in order while everyone is here.........

Thursday I love to cook for Thanksgiving and my youngest daughter is a fabulous cook to help me................Jackson's girlfriend is a professional chef and always brings tons of goodies...............

So, it won't be hard on me..............As long as I keep lots and lots of fresh fruit and good snacks everyone seems to have plenty of food................

I have played the role you were talking about many times and gave that role up years ago. We all want to be able to have fun and visit.........not staying in the kitchen.............
I do want to get started ahead of time though, so we can all have fun together........

The men take all the kids riding on the gator, golf cart, tractor, etc. down to see the deer, cattle, etc. So....................I am hoping that the routine continues...............

I am up early just in case I might win something on bingo...................

Not fair calling that late. I had that one but still need two.

Lin.........it just dawned on me............I have to get rid of plants..........have propagated way too many................not this weekend but the next, a friend from Houston is coming down to help me put up two more gro light stands...............

I think I am going to concentrate on propagating streps and unusual gesneriads for a while............so for a November prize I can donate 10 beautiful named avs.............I am hoping I can keep them in 2" and 3" pots and not any bigger.............too hard to ship..............

Mornin' Ladies, I'm heading out of town by noon today and I'll be gone all weekend so it worked out perfectly for me that Bingo wraps up today..................hmmm, they say, no wonder there were extra calls this week!! LOL

It is going on 9:00 a.m. here and I'll be making the calls within the hour.....

Ok, I'm officially confused.........There are only two calls left in my bag so doesn't that mean that everyone that is left without bingo still has one or two calls left too?? How do we pick a biggest loser if I make the last two calls??? Should we just stop here and then have Lee Anne put everyone's name that has two calls left in a bag and draw for the biggest loser??

I've only played since June and i don't remember getting down to the very last two calls before....I need input here!!!!!!

Actually, Brenda.........i think you throw the ones out like me who have only 1 left..........put all those that have two names left.................draw out of a hat and call it a day!!!!!!!!!!!!

That sounds about right. Everyone who has two calls left gets their name put in a hat (or colander, as the case may be LOL) and you pick one. :o) That's what I did when I hosted, though I had one of my kids pick the name, but I think everyone trusts you! ;o)

Ok, that's what I thought (when I started thinking! LOL) So now it's up to Lee Anne / threegardeners as she is the card holder. I have no idea who all even played this month!! LOL

So Lee Anne we are waiting with bated breath for you to put everyones name in a hat that has both calls left and then draw out our biggest loser!!!

Hey Brenda .... I'm one of the folks with 2 left on my card, but .... LEAVE my name out of the hat please. I know your plantlets are real Beauties but I'm just not ready for Strep's yet. Hopefully by next spring I will have these so-called "EASY" plants down pat and will be able to do better with them! They just really, really don't like me or my house for some reason. So, don't put my name in the hat.

Ok, I've d-mailed all of those that donated prizes and told them who to hook up with to get the prizes taken care of for this month!

I'm definitely playing next month with Gail tossing out a bunch of AV's as a prize, ohh can't wait. Who's hosting??

And I'm saying that if Kim is donating one of those awesome doilies for December that it should be FIRST prize!! I LOVE that Victorian Lady doily!! They are so beautiful there is now way it should be the biggest loser prize!!

Thank you so much for the kind compliment but I think the doily should really be the biggest loser because it's not really plant related and at least with gift certificates people can pick what they want. I don't mind it being the biggest loser prize at all, this is why I suggested it :)

I should definitely have her done for the December Bingo.
I wouldn't mind being the caller for November but since this is my first month at Bingo I really don't know how to do all that yet.

Ok Gail, who is Tami and what did you say to her? Sorry Tami .... I probably know you by your DG user name! I really didn't copy your quote, Gail. I know these plants (Strep's) must be Easy to grow just from all the different posts I've read on this forum and the different threads with all the Beautful photo's of y'alls plants! I'm just frustrated with myself (and a little with the Strep's too) because I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong! LOL. Now I gotta go back and read other posts to see what you said to Tami.

hmmmm ... I'm even to the point of wondering if maybe the Strep's are biased because I have 4 cats in the house! Maybe they don't want to share the same space! hee hee .... am I grasping at straws here?
