October Bingo Calls Page #6

Mid, ID(Zone 3b)

Lack of closets it tough! We lived in a mobile home for several years and I still think they have the best storage ever!!

My daughter is an excellent housekeeper and everything always looks spiffy at her place but of course how many of us move the furniture on a regular basis to clean underneath, not me!! Well not long ago we were having a baby shower at my daughters house. She has hardwood floors and we were going to play a game with the kids that needed some room so I just pushed her couch back against the wall. Well out scampered about a zillion dust bunnies that had been hiding under the couch and here the room is full of women of all kinds. I'll tell you what if looks could kill I'd be deader than dead right now!! My daughter was just fit to be tied that I moved that couch!!! She still gives me a bad time about it. LOL

Yes dreams, my husband asked me the other day what would be one dream I had (he wants to go to Alaska and Canada) and I told him it would be adding a sun room on to this house, I don't need to travel, just give me a sun room someday!!

ROFLMBO! Flintstone Closets! Now .... that describes my house to a T. We don't have a lot of storage or closet space at all. I go to visit my sisters and drool over the walk in closets! My youngest sisters Master Bedroom is sooo huge .... two walk in closets (his and hers) and two master bath's (his and hers)!! And the closets and bathrooms are really huge! My closets are so bad ... if you open the door stuff literally falls out at you! I've gotten used to slowly opening the closet doors and putting my hand and arm in to catch stuff as it comes falling out! I always worry though that if I had a walk in closet it would get filled up quickly and too would be just a giant storage bin!

My Mother always called them "Fibber McGee" closets. I'm not too sure who Fibber was, but I have his clasets. LOL Lou

I let my grandson wear the bunny ears for todays calls!! LOL I took this picture awhile back while thrift store shopping with him and you can tell he's not a happy camper with those rabbit ears on!!!

Diane I set my timer for exactly 2 hours from when I posted I'd be calling in a couple of hours, I think our time difference messed us up again!! I can't ever keep it straight!! LOL

Interesting how so many times it comes down to the very last calls!!

I'm down to 1 but REALLY wanted to secretly be the biggest loser *lol*
I'm hoping to have a doily done for the December Bingo. It could be the biggest loser prize that month *lol*
I finished my mother in laws doily and 13 dishcloths. Now I have my sister in laws doily, 2 light balls and then I'm DONE :)
I was thinking of making the Victorian lady for our December Bingo(see Bingo #2 for picture). What do you all think?
I need to make something other than this double wedding ring doily *lol* but I know my mother in law & sister in law both love that one so that is what they are getting *lol*

Noblesville, IN(Zone 5a)

Kim,

How did I miss all of those beauties. I love them all but I want the one with the hummingbird on it.

Kennebunk, ME(Zone 5a)

Oh goodness, that was a once in a lifetime. I will NEVER make another one of THOSE! *lol* I wish I had that one too :( SOOOO much work in that one (done by a graph).

Frederick, MD(Zone 6b)

Oh, those were not the two calls I needed! But my first thought when I saw them was that Karen has Bingo! (I was her backup card watcher... thanks, Lin!)

Anybody else digging plants this week before frost arrives? I have to pay somebody to do heavy cleaning, and yet you know I'll manage to get out there and dig up those banana plants, LOL. Actually a friend from the next block stopped by just now... He's coming over for lunch on Friday because he's never had fried green tomatoes... and he said he'd help me dig & haul those bananas. I'll give him a pup if he wants one, too. :-)
