Ok, I have an idea. I don't know how long we'll be able to keep this running, but we'll see. I'll put up a pic and y'all guess the show. We'll start with an uber easy one.

Yep it was! The character's name was Stringfellow Hawke. I never really watched that show, but it was popular. Stringfellow, now there's a name!


Ok, we'll do an easy one. This was my favorite character from this show.

Yes! It's Soooooolid Gold! OMgosh, it still makes me laugh that a show like that was so successful. But, of course, look at Dancing with the Stars today....I think that's got to be much worse!

Oh, here's one. I always thought this kid was cute, but the old man gave me the willies for some reason. Maybe it was those eyebrows, I don't know.

They're probably too easy.

I barely remembered Alice and even more barely recognized JMV, and don't at all remember the Solid Gold dancers or this grandpa-kid-puppy thing. Where was I?

Charmed is fun to watch. Can't seem to get into the CSI shows. Too much bad science and misinformation.

I don't watch those... Desperate Housewives, Two & A Half Men, Simpsons are the ones I try not to miss.

RE CSI: Talking to people I know in law enforcement they say there is a real problem in picking jury participants. Seems they watch too much TV and think the real courts should function and operate like they do on TV . Not gonna happen. TV is a whole lot different than real life law enforcement and judical law.

I was a huge Knot's Landing fan also !

I had jury duty not long ago and they mentioned CSI about the same way! Oh we humans are funny creatures!

I think you mean Scarecrow and Mrs. King...getting it mixed up with the Ghost and Mrs. Muir (which I think was originally a film that was made into a weekly series...)

Ghost and Mrs Muir is one of my very favorite top ten movies along with Rebecca.

I have to admit to not being much of a TV watcher... network TV.

He's the guy I hire to protect my hydrangeas from the flower pickers in my neighborhood ! How did you get his picture ? LOL

Just did a search for the show name plus "tv show" after it. Do you remember the name of the show?

What always got me about this show....and I was just a kid....was why did they pick this guy to star in the show? Why didn't they choose someone younger, someone better looking, someone more muscular, someone more Jan Michael Vincent? Maybe there was something I didn't get, but my thoughts were always, why would I go to him for protection? He kinda looks like he needs protecting himself. I don't know, maybe it's just me, but the English accent never made him scary to me either....except maybe if I put my elbows on the table.

Sorry, that's just my take on it. :)

LOL ! The "Elbow Police" were ever present at our house growing up.

Yeah, look at that pic of him that I posted. Those squinty little eyes and those pursed lips, can't you just hear him saying, "Get your bloody elbows off the table before I shoot you between the eyes!"

This is so totally OT, but what is the big deal with elbows on the table anyway? I never did understand that. What is so impolite about that?

I think it's right up there with drinking milk right from the carton ! (I do it on a daily basis...I can do that since I live alone ! hee hee..)
