I remember that case. I think she was having an affair with a teen (and she wasn't even a blond teacher!) and got him to kill the husband. They made a movie about it.
Dismal day here. Not much rain - just cool damp and drizzly.

Not so Smart?
Same type of day here, Victor.
afternoon turned out nice - 60 and sunny for a little while
Temp 60.9°, rh 65%, Wind NNE 3.8, Baro 29.79↑,
Dense overcast, gray featureless skies today.
The middle school in town is called Pierce Middle School, or PMS.
I remember that movie, Jaqoin Phoenix was the teen killer. Please forgive the spelling errors of his name. It's been raining quite heavily here all day. I'm waiting for a bit of a let up to go out and get some rose clippings for one of our own.
Wait. Does the rain have to do with the spelling of his name?
x, C
Any excuse will do. lol
One of our own means someone from DG, tight? That took me a few read-throughs to understand, too.
Nasty here. 50, overcast and drizzly. Very raw looking out there.Scheduled to go to a farm with my little guy's K class for pumpkins and apples. I guess it's in jeopardy.
Overcast with occasional rain

Here on the mid-Cape it's 52 degrees at 9 am; light rain with 86% humidity, NE winds at 8 mph. The ground is nice and soft for fall bulb-planting. Now I just have to convince myself to go outside and do it!
Early morning report .....

No wind (thank goodness!)
Overcast this morning with partial clearing for this afternoon
High of 58* predicted
I lived in Hampton, NH at the time. My older daughters were friends (of sorts) with the three boys. I say 'of sorts' because THIS momma was very careful to screen who her daughters were friends with. So, that makes the 'boys' all in their mid-thirties now.
Wow, what a coincidence.
Fabulous day - 57 degrees - beautiful sunshine - humidity at 59 percent.
And I still have two more 1.5 hour classes to teach - sigh. Have fun in the gardens, folks.
In the 60's, windy and rainy
I'm with Michaela, it's beautiful out!
Nasty day for the most part here. Sun came out about 3 or 3:30. About 53 now.
Nice Fall day here - 60 and sunny. Went to the park - moderate color.
Nasty here, too, Victor.
Nasty here too, Pirl and Victor. Blustery would be the adjective of the day along with rainfall.
Hopefully we'll get our sunshine back again on Sunday: I missed it, though I know we needed the rain.
I see Jackie Gleason.
It's cold.
Ummm - what? Dark in Milton. Is that kinda the circle of life stuff, WC?
It is 36 here this morning.......burrrr!

CM...Translation:
There is no warmth without cold, there is no light without darkness, everything has a balance. Everything must be appreciated, everything has a reason for existence.
(I do however suspect I misspelled appreciate).
* more like the Taoist philosophy; Ying/Yang CM.
Great shot of the Moon!
Deb, sounds like here (you're not that far away!). a low in the mid-50's is predicted, but it's 45 right now. and should be raining by this afternoon. so I guess I should get out and garden this a.m. Still no frost in our forecast, though. beautiful moon shot!!
WC2, A+ on the spelling!
WC - gracias! Es muy bueno.
pero:
apreciar: to appreciate
razón: a reason / propósito: a purpose
pienso que "raison" es francés.
Estoy buscando a unas personas que practicarán hablando o escribiendo español conmigo.
WC,
Sources close to me say I left out a lot in my last post, like the "it's CL, not CM, my friend" part. And the "could we please stick to English in case my Spanish-speaking aide isn't here?" part.
xx, CL
Lousy day in any language. Damp and overcast. About 53. Planted a few small Viburnums. Trimmed some branches. That's it for today outside.
