I would like to paint any room a deep red, but DH says no! So maybe bold drapes. It has worked in the past to pick something a bit on the gaudy side, and when he doesn't like it, pick my actual choice, and get agreement.

I painted our kitchen really red... it looks good... you really get used to...

All of my friends get to do whatever they want, their DH's don't care about the decorating, not mine. So, you gotta do what you gotta do.

I'm with your hubby. I do most of the selecting and my wife is happy with my choices.

If your indoor choices match your outdoor choices, I'd let you choose too.
My DH likes light pastels, I like dark bolds.
Our house is small, so he usually wins.

Victor has also pointed out what a danger it can be to post photos of the family, especially children. Too many weird people out there.

Yes, on the photos, I have D-mailed a number of people and advised them about that - especially kid photos. People feel too comfy here and it's potentially dangerous. I think the address exchange, unless you can select who can see it, is a crazy idea.

Dave - the Steinbrenners never had any class. However, did they announce the mgr. decision or was it the SI guy? The A-Rod thing was his agent's doing. The Yankees are better off without him and all his baggage. He has some serious psych problems.
