Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

You must be tired Candyce - forgot the photo!

The Monadnock Region, NH(Zone 5a)

One last one ... and this one is for Celeste ...

Everyone started 'diving for seeds' when I put your offerings in the middle of the table. And then, they all added there own offerings to the mix. Thank you so much, Celeste, for being part of our RU, too!!

Looks like gambling to me.

The Monadnock Region, NH(Zone 5a)

You are just too funny, Victor. You were so missed at the RU.

Milton, MA(Zone 6a)

Actually, Victor, that was when I rolled the dice.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Were you rolling for the seeds?

Appleton, WI(Zone 5a)

We missed your humor here today too Victor.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Most people miss it.

Milton, MA(Zone 6a)

Nope, the high roller got to foot the bill!

Milton, MA(Zone 6a)

Guys, or actually, ladies, as i recall, here is the picture of butterflies 'doing it' - it's in this thread at 1:49 pm!

Funny, because usually that means I'm not on speaking terms with my DW

Fairfield County, CT(Zone 6b)

Here's my picture of the group at Logees. I am proudly holding the key lime tree that I bought when I found out that my Chicago Hardy Fig could go outside and survive the winter!! That means that I have room for more plants inside.

I only managed to take one picture of the plants at Logees and the colors came out way too "hot". The hanging plant had the most amazing fluffy, fuzzy "tails" hanging down.

What kind of stuff did you others get?

Milton, MA(Zone 6a)

Al, I'm not going to TRY to imagine what you mean. It's just a pretty picture or two of some butterflies, two in fact, in very close proximity. Now what could that possibly have to do with you and your DW?

Appleton, WI(Zone 5a)

Talking about their orientation.

Still Jealous those plants are awesome!

Jersey Shore, NJ(Zone 7a)

I never miss your humour Victor....but I am sad to miss this RU. I want to attend the next one no matter what......There might be 2 Louises to mess everyone up...............so call me Weeze! It looks like a good time was had by all !!

Milton, MA(Zone 6a)

Their CLOSE orientation? Do I need to refer back to Susan's actual thread to get this? AM I BEING DIM?

Fairfield County, CT(Zone 6b)

Well - at Logees I got the Pepper Plant I have been coveting for months, a trailing rosemary for the house this winter and a maypop. After lunch in the parking lot I got varigated soloman's seal, and sweet potato vine tubers from Thom and Paul, a pretty purple flower plant and Amish Paste tomato seeds from Don, an aloe plant from Harper, two coreopsis(sp) plants from Thom and Paul(?) and flowering kale from Michaela. Tomorrow I plant! Oh and some yellow squash seeds from Emily.

These are great photos! I loved the "diving for seeds" moment--we were pretty restrained--well, maybe not. I know that I came home with some tasty morsels.

What fun it was to meet everybody. And to know that I am not totally crazy--well, I have company.

I am very sorry that I didn't get to Logees--my car died in the "Free Municipal Parking Lot" in Putnam, and I spent some quality time with Triple-A getting it going again. Then went on home to Yarmouth Port.

WITH some terrific seeds and plants. Thank you, everybody. And thank you, Kassia, for inspiring us all.
You are all great.

Be careful of those coreopsis, Cat! Mine were TOTALLY mint-like in their lust for world domination.

Fairfield County, CT(Zone 6b)

Here is a picture of the candy lilly that I gave out seeds from. There are still more seed pods if anyone wants seeds - just let me know.

What a beauty...

Milton, MA(Zone 6a)

I believe, due to the clear picture of MONEY in the alleged "diving for seeds" picture, that it is actually a dividing up the bill picture.

Appleton, WI(Zone 5a)

Nice to see what the remainder of you all look like. Thanks for posting pics. Way below the usual amount of eating and butt pics for a roundup though ;)

Milton, MA(Zone 6a)

Oh, well, I had a chance at THOSE seeds and I turned them down? I'll have to catch you on the flip side about those, Cat, 'cause those sure are pretty!

Austin, TX(Zone 8b)

Hi from Texas!
A couple of questions:
How is it that y'all still have "short sleeve" weather? Looks like our weather!
Who brought the beautiful flowers for your table center pieces? Gorgeous!
Can I grow the "candy lilies" here in my zone? My garden areas are all orange and purples...

I've been to 3 DG events thus far...all such fun!! I know your lives are all enriched from meeting and spending time with other avid gardeners!! :-)

Milton, MA(Zone 6a)

I type way too slowly to be even permitted on this forum. Is there a remedial typing forum?

Milton, MA(Zone 6a)

I give up - I'm just too slow. Nighty-night. (It was unseasonably warm this weekend.)

Southern, CT(Zone 6a)

I had a great time. Everyone was even nicer in person. Hope Thom & Paul are home safe.

I got pavinia and goldfish plant at Logee's and a bunch of plants from everyone. Thom brought enough to open a store!

Celeste, As you can see, your seeds brought a very good price. Candyce will be forwarding you the money.

Victor, in an extreme act of generosity, called ahead to Logee's to buy us all plants!

Seriously, Thank you to all that came and thanks for the plants and seeds. And thanks again Eleanor! We really had a nice room you treated us to.

Upper Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 5a)

I've been memorizing everyone's face and name (two names). One face I don't know. In the group pic from Don and YankeeCat, who is the woman in the front on the right between Harper and Thom? Looks like you all got some terrific plants. Eleanor

Upper Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 5a)

You are very welcome!! Eleanor

Austin, TX(Zone 8b)

Yankee Cat...you have D-mail! Thanks!
