Post photos of your best Fall color.
Here's a strange one. Cephalanthus 'Sputnik' suddenly went brown last week. Maybe lack of water? Anyway, the initial brown has given way to this cool rusty orange color. Hope the plant is okay (my first year with it) and will show this color every year!
Fall Color 2
Nice - like the Viburnum.
Beautiful! Very peaceful.
oh my is that gorgeous, I'm so excited
how awesome to live right there!!
Beautiful millpond photo, Candyce! Enter it in the photo contest.
Yes, I was going to suggest that too. The reflection makes it real nice.
Ok. I will. You have talked me into it.
Al - I love all the photos but your first one of the evening is so glorious!
(Fire engines!)
You have hydrants in the woods Al??!!
Can't be too safe! Dogs feel more at home there with them.
What a riot, Al!
Love all of the photos today ... even the sumac.
That Sumac looks like it might need to be doused by the hydrant!
Victor, have you been pickin' up Paw Paw's and puttin' 'em in your pocket?
I'm sure the animals are enjoying any leftovers I've missed. Your post was bordering on Peter Piper!
You on your lunch break Victor? Both of my girls have bad colds, so I get the day off from home schooling!
Did you get Pa's Paw's Paws?
Yes - lunch break. Then it's outside with my 5 year old in the nasty heat to do necessary gardening. Having some trees removed Monday and need to clear a path for them.
Beautiful photo's everyone. I love the colours you have in your yards Al and Victor - stunning!!!!! Oh and Candyce that photo is picture perfect!
Thanks, Dawn. I will be using it to make some home-made greeting cards, too, as well as entering it in the contest.
Yes I think you should Candyce - great job!
Candyce - your mill pond shot is a winner for sure! I also love the lake shot with the fog lifting. And Al, your first pic and your sumac are really bright and much more colorful than what we have here.
Bebop - the beautiful contrast of colors in your pic is spectacular!
I'm attaching a shot of the leaves that are already down around my potting shed.....much less vibrant than in years past.
Victor, there are child labor laws for 5-year-olds.........Did you supervise his clearing of the path??? LOL
He only clears the poison ivy and nettles.
Oh, then I think you're covered! LOL
No - hopefully he's covered first! He's my canary in the coal mine.
Selfless!
