Post photos of your best Fall color.
Here's a strange one. Cephalanthus 'Sputnik' suddenly went brown last week. Maybe lack of water? Anyway, the initial brown has given way to this cool rusty orange color. Hope the plant is okay (my first year with it) and will show this color every year!
Paw Paw turning yellow yellow.
Heptacodium calyxes - a sure sign of Fall in my garden. You can see the spent flowers.
Nice color on the Sputnik Vic.
I have more fall colors, none from my yard though as a disclaimer.
Native/wild/invasive plant - I believe this is Ravenna grass.

I tried recreating my night shot of a day shot during the day.
The fire hydrants all turn such a nice red in the fall too.
All these photos are gorgeous. The millpond looks like a fairy land.

Yes - lunch break. Then it's outside with my 5 year old in the nasty heat to do necessary gardening. Having some trees removed Monday and need to clear a path for them.

Candyce - your mill pond shot is a winner for sure! I also love the lake shot with the fog lifting. And Al, your first pic and your sumac are really bright and much more colorful than what we have here.

I'm attaching a shot of the leaves that are already down around my potting shed.....much less vibrant than in years past.
