I live with one so I know for sure.
Scattelogical ramblings and desultory humor - Part 12
Al - they're all beautiful but the wine and peach go so well together. All things considered I'm happier to be working for the love of it and not money: been there, etc.
I'm not working at all........anywhere.........not even in my house or my garden.........lazy slug! But doing my Perle Mesta impression is hard work........I did walk this morning......but that's not work, and I did get my hair cut......but my hairdresser throws in an amazing scalp massage during the shampoo, so that's a half hour very well spent!
It's a very dark night ...
Isn't it, Candyce! I was just thinking that it seems unusually dark tonight considering it's not supposed to be very cloudy until tomorrow night........hmmmm
I find most nights to be dark.
Wow, missed a couple days, makes your head spin.
Good Saturday morning, everyone!
Get up and get outside!!! It's gonna be a good day!!!
It got really dark last night, my server was down - hope I didn't miss too much. I'd probably miss it even if I was here! Eleanor
Dave's server was down, too. It was gone for HOURS, beginning at about 5:30 AM. I suffered withdrawal for a very long time, so I went shopping! What did we buy? More plants.
It was horrible - I couldn't get on last night and not this morning either. And then my DD#1 was hogging my computer this morning after DG was finally back on doing some of her work. I told her DG is back on and I need to see what everyone is doing so hurry up please!! Guess I can't complain cause she is helping me with my grandson today. I don't know how I'm going to survive a whole week without DG!! I really need Vineyard Time!! Eleanor
have to admit that we bought the week's groceries, too. Remind me NOT to go shopping with DD, Anna, when there's food and bulbs and flowers along the route we take to the grocery store. The plant buying total was almost as much as the grocery total!! (Seriously though. I hardly minded a bit!!! Besides, it was her money!)
At 7:00 in the NE it was still light out here in the NW. I bundled up some of our extra light and sent it to you. It would only ship towards the West so I don't think it got there till this morning. Did you notice it was a little brighter ?? Hope so. Let me be the first to wish you all a Happy Apple Fritter and Hog Jowl Memorial Day.
Thanks bal! I think I did notice an extra ray or two. And I thought I was the only one who celebrated AFHJM Day.
"Disbuds for you Al" He he... got it.
who's on first? Eleanor!
Everyone has a photographic memory
...some just don't have any film.
The Fed-Ex truck arrived yesterday with more garden goodies!! This time is was more daylilies.
What a thrill! Like having Christmas in September.
Absolutely!!
And yesterday we bought some Anemone, too.
The enemy of my Anemone is...
deer?
Ingredients: whole wheat, soybean oil, salt, monoglycerides. What am I?
triscuit?
Could be anything. A pretzel. A bagel. Bread.
Brilliant!!!! You win another prize, Al! Whaddya want?
not a triscuit - hate 'em
Too healthy?
choking hazard
Supposed to be pre-softened by beer.
Okay, here's your beer, Al. It's a brand new kind called Cyberbeer. Like it?
Get your mind out of the gutter, Al.
Maybe I need bumpers.
Then you'd be Alice.
Either he's a Lefty with a nice hook or that's headed for gutterland.
yes and no and yes
Does that sound like flip-flopping? Or maybe flip-flooping.
