Nice place to rest here for a breather......if you want chaos, you should see my kitchen right about now! I left it all in there hoping it would clean itself up while I'm pretending to be paying some bills on my computer.........I have a very serious look on my face and I have to keep it that way for sympathy just in case my DH looks at the kitchen, then looks at me hard at work taking care of the financial wellbeing of the Couple, and decides he should wade in on the kitchen chaos I created.....and then prepare lunch for us and then give me a neck massage.......yeah, you guessed it.......I'm fantasizing BIG TIME here. I'm sitting on my butt playing on DG while he's out there walking all around the yard putting together some SMASHING VASES OF FLOWERS to put around the house for tomorrow's gathering. oop - he just walked through the kitchen and kept on going........time for me to quit being a slacker now.

Just got back - it's too hot to work outside!! A few days ago it was almost freezing here at night and nice weather for working during the day. Now we're back to hot again - It's the great Northeast!!! jan :^)

If it's cooled off maybe I'll go outside and do something - don't know what yet, but I'll find something to do. Some Balloons might fly over this way if the wind is in the right direction - remember the fireworks I heard last night at the Adirondack Balloon Festival - I wasn't there, but the fireworks were and I could hear them here!! Am I creating confusion, I am confused, but I did hear fireworks. Should I go back to being Eleanor instead of Jan or should I be Phoeb? Talk to you after I come back inside but I hope we don't have to send 4 million posts tonight (it seemed like it anyway). Jan or Eleanor or Phoeb

Yes this darkness before 7 is a real bummer. The darkness of Winter is much worse than the cold.

I'ts only 7:30 and it is black as pitch out there! I have nothing to add of any value. My Mother taught me if I don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything........so......but I don't have anything bad to say either....

After the darkness comes the light.

Bingo........nice thought, Ngam!! I really don't like the dark.......it makes me feel very dependent, because I'm restricted from night driving......

I worked 8.5 hours outside today and some of it was real work, some fun work. It's looking good. Al, the dahlias are fabulous!

I worked outside for 9 hours today and got paid for it, but didn't have any fun - how that compare? Hot(84) and windy today.

Pirl - just putzing with the dahlias myself - disbudding ,pruning,etc.
