Those are gorgeous, I love that last one.. If you have any Platycodon/Fuji's/Tie Dye's seeds, save me some and I'll do the same for you, these have my heart this year..

I took several photos this morning, but will post them later.. finally got over 250 Iris in, 50 daylilies, and have put in another 50 Iris, this Morning, now need a couple of hundred daffs and tulips that need to go in.. just taking a small break.. this week will be very hectic for me.

Hi Antoinette,

You got it!
I have some REALLY GREAT TieDye Blooms this year. All very unusual too. And, of course, I have my Rose Silk TieDye Blooms too. I'm keeping a list of your wants that I just started.

Good grief, you are as bad as I am with your planting.
You know 'we' should start that 'club' *ha*
We could call it MGAA

As much as I am enjoying the blooms we are all getting this time of year...my brain is already plotting ahead for what to grow next year. I love seeing others blooms and getting inspiration!

Jacksonville, TX(Zone 8a)

Beth,
I too am already thinking about next year while I have HUNDREDS of seeds yet to collect that are barely hanging on my vines.

At least I know what I'll plant FIRST next year.
Bet Gourd does too!

Emma - Your Plum Frost mix is beautiful! Another great MG gene!

We got a lot of rain today. I took before and after shots of many of the blooms, but this vine "Plum Shadows" really did a change over in color after the rain! I was totally amazed!

The early morning colors and pattern.

And this is how the blooms looked this afternoon after 5 pm and after the rain. What a change!

3. is pink hige I have had for a while

4. Is apparently a Sunrise Serenade from a mix sent by MGJapan!

There is more....

Nice feathered selection!

This is fun picture taking. This little gem on the left came from MGJapan and this is one sold to me as Joyce Cobb next to it. They look cute together, huh?

And last but not least this is a result of a grow out of Maisugata x yaguruma. It is bigger than the yaguruma and came from a grow out from a blue flowered plant resulting from a yaguruma x maisugata cross. I wanted a magenta youjiro in the same form as Maisugata and here you go. I`m satisfied with the results and now back to more growing...excuse me where`s my tags... :)

Thanks Beth!

Karen, Love the feathered blooms but I'm partial to the selection riding on
your back bumper. Bright and cheerful

Baton Rouge area, LA(Zone 8b)

I thought a collage of the different patterns this flower MGJapan sent me would bloom on the same vine would be interesting. This isn`t perfect or anything but you can see what I mean. In onepicture I stood in front of the flowers because the sun was washing them out too much. I need to learn how to mess with the settings on my camera rather than use auto all the time. This one has watercolor blue streaks in it at different times at random like many others I have seen. Karen

patootie, Thanks! I`m going to grow some hand pollinated pods from the pinkish purple or mauve colored ones. I do not know whether or not this will breed true just yet. Time will tell! Karen

The baby blue ipomoea nil with the variegated foilage is back again from seeds.

Split petal and split to the middle though it appears not to be because they are touching toward the center. It is from MGJapan of course. This is a nose leaf one too and this is second generation true from seeds. Karen

Hi Ron and Dee,

I`m out of time and will come back to answer some more tomorrow. bye/bye Karen

Carson City, NV(Zone 6b)

I only ended up with two shibouri vines this year but one of them is producing these fantastic bi-color flowers. I've tagged the vine so I can keep these seeds separate.
