Everyone has posted exceptional photos today, (well, yesterday evening). I think they are all worthy of becoming contest entries somewhere. We definitely have some talent in our group!

Just look at that Mother's Rose blooming in front of Powis Castle artemisia by grampapa!

August/Sept. This one started about 10 days ago and still going strong.

Northwest Cosmos is a dahlia but resembles a cosmos.

I'll have to get some of those lilies, Celeste. They'd go so nicely with the dahlias. Thanks for the link.

Roses and Dahlias, what's not to like, just lovely. The pic effects are really charming too.

I think we need more adjectives to compliment the many glorious photos.

Almost Alma time here, still working on a containment system that can hold here in place.

"that rose is styling!" "Goovey flower power"

Cross that with a tomato Al and you'll have Alma mater.

NW Cosmos looks good Pirl, fairly prolific for me.

Harrington's Pink aster is in full swing - it's at eye level so it's easy to watch the bees on it.

Alma Potschke I've divided a couple times and it's still bigger than most of my shrubs. She is the queen of my fall flowers.

Goldenrod, it will be all gone in an hour. The field is being cut as I write.

Still catches my breath everytime I see this face. I love this color!

Hope these little guys find my flowers OK now that the field is mowed. I love how the outline of it's wings match the clover.

Nice blues on the violas. That sulfur pic is nice with how the colors match.

Did my last deadheading on the cosmos - these seemed extra large on this plant.

Calendulas look better this time of year I think - Sherbet Fizz

Touch of Red has some variance in flowers.
