hmmmm .... are y'all checking your cards closely? Some of you may have more than you think.

I have 4 so far.....but if Makshi tells us what yesterdays were and I guessed right.. I might be up to 6

I have checked mine lots of times and I'm still not sure what I have is right. I'm sure a lot of us have either more or less than we think. When I get the answers wrong and have to go back and correct them that's when everything gets all messed up and I have to start at the beginning checking off answers on a new card. I've been checking in, playing the clues, reading all the posts and trying to solve the riddles. Think I'll do as suggested and check in once a day to get the answer. Way less stress.

I've been both busy and under the weather lately, so haven't been posting much. I'm here, though. Not just waiting to holler BINGO, Gail! :oP LOL

Lin, I think I have gotten 6 calls so far. Can you check that for me and make sure? That would mean I have 9 left, and on your list above, you don't mention anyone having 9 left, so I'm not sure where I stand. I'm trying to keep up, but not doing a very good job. LOL

Okay: I will post the list of players and how many I show each of you have if everyone is agreeable to that? If someone doesn't want me showing their's let me know. I could do it later today at a set time?

You are welcome! I had printed out everyone's cards and was having a few days of brain fog so finally had to have Makshi dmail me the list of what she has called so far. I helped with some of the clues but didn't write them down and keep a copy, and was totally lost on some of them. I had made such a mess of everyone's cards with crossing off the wrong ones! Whoa! Me trying to play bingo with 24 cards! What a mess! I finally had to start over, reprint every card and go back and check and double check .... reminded me of when I used to work full time, all the checking and double checking of documents! Sure am glad I don't have to work at a real job anymore!

At least you and Makshi came up with a new idea and twist for bingo...........................know it is fun for the brain to be teased a little............or a lot (LOL)

Lin,I messed up too...lol..which is not at all surprising for me..I will send you a dmail to see which ones I forgot to mark off.Thanks soo much for doing this!

I'm having a lot of fun playing this way and trying to figure out the clues (with discussion!!) but 'm also real happy when the actual answers go up so I can double check myself! LOL

With today's clues I believe I now have 8, right Lin?

Oh dear, don't make Lin do all that work! With Makshi posting the answers after a day or two, it's not that hard to keep track... if you're not sure of a guess, mark it with a "?" and then check it off once the answer is posted.

With other ways we've played Bingo, the winner is the person who posts Bingo first, and that often means the person with the fastest fingers... this just adds a little more uncertainty and challenge to the very end of the game, trying to figure out if the final call that you need is the answer to the lastest riddle.

I think we're stressing out too much about this! :-)

I see what your saying Jill and I have used the ? mark method so far.... So at the end there may be a lot more than just Janet calling Bingo without it really on their card!! LOL I like it, the drama the uncertainty......boy Lin, you'll have your work cut out for you then! :))))

hee hee .... not much work at all being card holder! I just made it more work when I started marking off each card and then messing up not having the clues correct! No stress here! I just have to laugh at myself a lot.

Really, the only thing the card holder has to do is wait for one of y'all to holler Bingo and then to check the card and confirm or deny it!


Bingo should be fun ... it's a game and not supposed to be stressful. I've known folks who like to go to Bingo games at churches and down in south florida the seminole indian reservation has a bingo a few times a week - gambling. I've seen advertisements where they have a Seminole Hard Rock Casino in Tampa and down near Miami ... lots of gamblers in Florida I guess. I remember my Mom had a friend down in Fort Lauderdale near her who just HAD to go play Bingo at the casino once or twice a week. Sad, she really couldn't afford it. I guess it's like the State Lottery ... lots of folks think they are going to win big, but they end up losing so much.

...... ok, I'm rambling - gotta get going and get some things done!

You may be right Critter, but even Lin admits to getting confused and starting over. The stress all depends on what else you have going on.

I confuse myself a lot of time anymore! Sometimes trying to have my attention on too many things at once and not concentrating on the task at hand!

I just chalk it up to the fact that I have the attention span of a squirrel! ;o)

Ok .... now I've gotta get out of here for awhile. Meeting tomorrow with a couple of ladies with our local Soldiers Angel's group, making Christmas Stockings to fill and ship to soldiers in Iraq for the holidays, and I need to get some more supplies!
