Great MGs, all! I thought I'd post one of the SOH that bloomed today. It's from seeds given to me by someone on another forum. They look just like the ones I planted some years ago from Vesey's.

I forgot to post a photo of this chocolate that reminds me of chocolate milk.

Thanks everyone! I am so excited every day to check my vines! I never know what I'm going to find .... it's been a show all week! Many are still blooming when I get home from work around 4pm.

Ron - Here's today's Plum Shadows. It has another little hood in the center.

(Becky) in Sebastian, FL(Zone 10a)

Emma - I am not sure what this one is. I couldn't read the tag this morning. Any idea? Solid Pale Lavendar?

Thumbnail by beckygardener
(Becky) in Sebastian, FL(Zone 10a)

Emma - Not sure what this one is either. Hamaginga Blue perhaps? Huge bloom! I just love it!! Eye candy for sure!

(Becky) in Sebastian, FL(Zone 10a)

Emma - The first bloom that catches my eye every morning is the Fuji Hot Pink Frost! This bloom this morning was huge!!!

Thumbnail by beckygardener
(Becky) in Sebastian, FL(Zone 10a)

Another unknown. I couldn't be sure if the purple splotches were from dew or part of the bloom color pattern.

(Becky) in Sebastian, FL(Zone 10a)

You know what I like about the Youjiro Kongo? The light blue on the outer edges. Crazy color combo on this particular cultivar! Makes you do a double-take. I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me at first, but the streaks and edging really are a pale blue!

Wow Joseph...this one is awesome!

I'm finally getting some blooms...nothing special, but thought I'd post a few anyway....

Lastly....

And these are at the back of my garden bed along the fence. Caught my eye this morning. I couldn't get close to them because of all the plants in front of them. I think they are Akatsuki no Umi, but the color is not as dark as it should be, so it may be something else entirely.

A, who doesn't love chocolate milk!! ☺

Becky I love the Youjiro Kongo!!

Seedsower I really like the lavender with the white edge a lot!!

MGMan that pale blue purpurea is nice! I like it!!

(Becky) in Sebastian, FL(Zone 10a)

Emma - Do you think this IS Plum-Gray Smoke?

Gail - Whoo Hoo! Love this one! http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/fp.php?pid=3945723

http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/fp.php?pid=3945785

Beth - Nice bright blue!

Deb - I give this one 2 thumbs up!! http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/fp.php?pid=3947484

Karen - I really really like the pattern on this one!
http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/fp.php?pid=3948013

MGMan - Love the patterns and colors of yours! Very nice! Are they small or larger bloom sizes?

Antoinette - Oh my gosh! This is one I would love to grow. I'd love to do a trade for a couple seeds of yours! I love the color! Simply stunning!!
http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/fp.php?pid=3949644

Seedsower - Love your pretty blooms! Very, very nice patterns and colors! :-)

Netcong, NJ(Zone 5b)

Karen - Nice dilution on the blue youjiro with the contrasting darker veined striations...
http://pics.davesgarden.com/pics/gardener2005_1189190212_937.jpg

Becky - Great color and accent...
http://pics.davesgarden.com/pics/beckygardener_1189220018_522.jpg

This one looks like Hama no Sora but all I see are heart shaped leaves...
http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/fp.php?pid=3949769

Sandy - I like the color on this one
http://pics.davesgarden.com/pics/Seedsower_1189221141_912.jpg

This looks like a parti-colored Chiaki(?) and a Sayaka(?)...

Everyone's MGs are very pretty. : )
~Lucy

Whitsett, NC(Zone 8a)

So many beautiful blooms. My vines are taking a break at the moment, except for the Cypress Vine mix (thanks Ron!), which are finally showing white blooms as well. I'll post pix of those later.

Ok, so imagine my disappointment when I got home from work Thursday and saw this:

(of course, I forgot to put an umbrella over for shade)

But, I had hopes because of the red color . . .

Then I peek out the window this morning drinking my coffee and see this:

Thumbnail by Syrumani
Whitsett, NC(Zone 8a)

And a more frontal view . . . you can see a bit of white way deep inside:

Thumbnail by Syrumani
Whitsett, NC(Zone 8a)

And just for kicks, a side view:

Although I knew the chances of this being a true red, I'm still a little disappointed - it's more a magenta color. But, it's very close. There is another vine growing from the same packet of seeds - the leaves are not as elongated. We'll see what that produces.

(Becky) in Sebastian, FL(Zone 10a)

Emma - I ADORE this one! Solid Pale Lavendar?

Thumbnail by beckygardener
Netcong, NJ(Zone 5b)

I like this one too
http://pics.davesgarden.com/pics/beckygardener_1189261138_253.jpg
but it looks like a pale lavender blizzard...

(Becky) in Sebastian, FL(Zone 10a)

You are right, Ron. It does seem to have a streaking color to it. Possibly blizzard.

I am not sure what this one is either. I had labeled it Plum Gray Smoke. (But I don't know what that is supposed to look like.) Any ideas?

(Judith) Denver, CO(Zone 5b)

Here's one I haven't seen before, and I can't identify it.

Another from the same vine (I think).

Oooooh! revclaus ..... What a rainbow of color on that bloom! I hope someone can name it for you! Love the graduation of colors on it! Very pretty!!!!

Becky - this one here
http://pics.davesgarden.com/pics/beckygardener_1189262819_745.jpg
looks like one of Emmas and the various fogs, smokes and mists are her department...

Revclaus - These 2 could be Candy Stripe Purple

http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/fp.php?pid=3950885
if the seeds are mustard colored...if the seeds are black then it is most likely Blue or Purple Tie Dye...

Good grief, I'm behind with seeing all of these fabulous MGs.

Antoinette, LOVE your Rose Silk
I would Love to have a couple of these seeds if you get enough.
AWESOME BEAUTY!
http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/fp.php?pid=3949644

Becky,
Wow, your Plum Shadows is doing great. So lovely.
This is Lavender Mist
http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/fp.php?pid=3949692
This one looks like it has a Blizzard Pattern best I can tell. If so, it is
Lavender Chiffon
http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/fp.php?pid=3950780

This is probably a Solid from the Hamaginga
Or, it could possibly be one of the Lady Lauras that stayed True
http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/fp.php?pid=3949708

Oh My, Your Fuji Hot Pink Frost has HUGE spokes - Really Nice
http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/fp.php?pid=3949724

This looks like one from my Henka Blue Type Seeds
Looks very much like the MG I named Morning Storm
http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/fp.php?pid=3949736
http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/fp.php?pid=3950942
Maybe one of the seeds you got from Cat?

Your Youjiro Kongo is a Winner. Love it
http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/fp.php?pid=3949755

Not sure on this one yet - but it is not Akatsuki no Umi
http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/fp.php?pid=3949769
Akatsuki no Umi has Variegated Leaves.
Did you grow seeds of Hatsu Arashi?
HA does NOT have Variegated Leaves

This one does look like Plum-Gray Smoke
http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/fp.php?pid=3949794
Some of the blooms will be Gray and Some will be the Light Plum Color
This is the Gray one
http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/fp.php?pid=3950865
Strange that this MG throws both colors

Sandy - You DID get blooms.
Love your Youjiros
http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/fp.php?pid=3949760
and this one is Gorgeous
http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/fp.php?pid=3949763

http://pics.davesgarden.com/pics/gardener2005_1189190212_937.jpg

Syrumani . . .
Your SOI is AWESOME. Looks as pretty as the one I grew.
You need to put yours in the Plant Files

http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/fp.php?pid=3950885
is interesting. Did your grow any seeds labeled 'Tie Dye'?
The first bloom I get frequently on vines from seeds from Parks
Very Pretty.
Please post other blooms from this vine so we can see what it does.

Emma

what gorgeous blooms everyone has! very nice!
I love this one, but the camera doesn't capture the color right. It's a very dark purple (my favorite color). Thanks much, Ron for the seeds! :)

Love your bloom

Emma

(Becky) in Sebastian, FL(Zone 10a)

Emma - The two different photos of pale blooms are from the same plant, so I believe it is Lavender Chiffon. Very delicate blooms, but LARGE!!! Outstanding cultivar you created Emma!

(Judith) Denver, CO(Zone 5b)

Okay, Ron and Emma, I tagged some of them and will continue to tag them as they bloom. Also got identifying photos of sepals. I'm anxious to have these again next year. Thanks mucho for the help!

I think this one might be a third odd one.
