Joseph, that blue speckled one is the ultimate!

Baton Rouge area, LA(Zone 8b)

Joseph, The speckled ones are beautiful! Yes, they are the ultimate JMG.

Arlan, The double dianthus is the ultimate dianthus and very special indeed!

Here is one I found in a grow out. It has shredded, double and single flowers all on the same vine with thin variegated leaves.

Joseph - This one is the neatest pattern and color! Looks like it's got purple freckles! And lots of them! :-)

And I really like this one, too:

Karen (blue) - I am LOL about the the use for an umbrella skeleton! Too funny!

Thanks Elsa and Emma!

Emma - I will certainly mark some of my Lady Lavendar seeds for you!!!
The Youjiro Kongo definitely looked like some Blizzard markings to me too!

The Cocoa Chocolate definitely has a deep plum color. I wondered about that too. I am growing a seed from Plum Gray Smoke. I wonder if the seeds got mixed somehow......

Arlan - GORGEOUS photo! Love the bloom on this one!!! WOW! http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/fp.php?pid=3943514

Karen (gardener2005) - Love this one!!!!!!

I hear ya, Ronnie about the size of the Lady Laura! I am enchanted by this MG bloom! It just knocks ya over!!!

Here's another photo of the "blizzard" showing up in the Youjiro Kongo.

My first bloom from the Plum Shadows. Unfortunately, it was torn by a gusty wind.

The Plum Frost blooms were also damaged. But what a beautiful color. I hope I get some more blooms tomorrow that open up completely without damage.

Becky,
I'm thinking you may have the seeds switched on the Cocoa Chocolate and the Plum-Gray Smoke. We will see on your next blooms.
Really love your Youjiro Kongo Blizzard Blooms
http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/fp.php?pid=3945684

Your Plum Shadows
http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/fp.php?pid=3945694
has remained True
But the Plum Frost did not.
Are you sure I sent you Plum Frost or Velvet Plum?
http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/fp.php?pid=3945705

I just checked my records and it looks like I sent you a couple of seeds that I wasn't sure if they were Velvet Plum or the Violet Bloom it threw last year.

The Bloom you have looks like something that I got from one of my Velvet Plum seeds last year.
Velvet Plum stayed True for me for 4-years [and is continuing to], except that last year one of the vines threw a Lilac-Lavender Bloom like you got. My guess is that it has reverting back to one of the parents. Looks like Fuji Musume to me similar to the blooms I'm getting.
VERY PRETTY

See what I mean about Lady Laura. Amazing all of the different blooms that I am seeing. Now I wish I had grown out more seeds.
I need to look up the INCREDIBLE blooms that I have gotten of Lady Laura. Drop Dead Gorgeous. I'll post them later.

Here is one of my blooms from last year of Plum Shadows

Thanks for the kind words.Been away for awhile.Lots of "life" happening. It is my impression that my Henka is responsible for alot of my crosses. The seed may produce a bloom with some of the original color but the form is often Henka's with the infusion of Henka's electric blue.Just an observation.

(Ronnie), PA(Zone 6b)

Gail, nice to see you posting!! I really like your Yoinotsuki!!

Becky the lavender one is real nice!!
