North Texas RoundUp - Trade page 2

Fate, TX(Zone 8a)

josephine, i let your other fig tree die this summer. i don't claim full responsibility since it rained so much but if you have another one to spare i would appreciate it. i have had the hardest time trying to get a fig tree to live here.

Waxahachie, TX(Zone 8a)

Charlene, could I have 2 dwarf nandinas please?

Buffalo, TX(Zone 8b)

Broncbuster I will save you the dwarf Nandinas.

DH wants to know more about the t-posts. What length? How many? Do you want to sell a lot of them?

We need lots of t-posts.

Charlene

Waxahachie, TX(Zone 8a)

Charlene, I'll have to count when I get home, but I'm guessing around 15-20. I think they are mostly 5-6ft tall, but I'll make sure this evening. You can have them all.

Goldthwaite, TX(Zone 8a)

Charlene, I'd love to have the other double pink althea. I will also have some named daylilies to share and will post the names as soon as I get some digging time (and energy!)

Josephine, Arlington, TX(Zone 8a)

Mamajack, you get one fig tree.
-----------------------------------------------------------
Charlene you get two fig trees and one pack of onions.
The trees are small in quart size pots but they are fast growers.
Josephine,

Buffalo, TX(Zone 8b)

Patrob,
I put your name on the last Althea.

Charlene

Buffalo, TX(Zone 8b)

Josephine,
Do you have any of the walking onions left? I'd like a bunch if you do please.
Charlene

Buffalo, TX(Zone 8b)

Sorry Josephine, I see you already set a bunch of onions aside for me.
Thank you,
Charlene

Josephine, Arlington, TX(Zone 8a)

No problem Charlene, these are the little bulbs that grow at the top, the walking part of the onions, that I have in the packet, not the bottom bulbs that grow in the soil.
Josephine.

Lindsay, OK(Zone 7a)

Charlene - I can use a lot of them! I am filling an area oh.... 150 foot long with shrubs at school. I can also use any trees you have to bring that no one else is looking for. I will bring you two good sized brugs dug just that morning. I leave mine in ground - if you need me to pot them for you let me know or I will dig with the soil needed and have them in bags for you. I have 6 or so small ones too that I have rooted that I will save a few back for you too.

Seguin, TX(Zone 8b)

Mitch....I mentioned it on the other thread, but I think my mom still has an october rose hibiscus that she may not want. I will ask her if you are interested.

Magnolia, TX(Zone 8b)

Okay, Mitch! I have read every line about you needing trees & I just can't keep my mouth shut or my fingers still anymore!!!
How about a redbud? Think it may be an Oklahoma redbud. 10g, I think!

Buffalo, TX(Zone 8b)

Smockette, I'll take all the 5 gallon containers that you can spare. I can really use those around here. I make good use of them a dozen different ways.
Thank you,
Charlene

Lindsay, OK(Zone 7a)

I would LOVE the Red Bud!!! What can I trade you!!

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

Charlene...I will put aside the items you requested, anything else please let me know.
Thanks bunches for the althea and PV. Guess I need to quit while I still have room to bring stuff home! LOL!

Fate, TX(Zone 8a)

charlene'splants.............if you have any gardenia, double pink althea, or a. cucullata left i would like those for my sister.

Buffalo, TX(Zone 8b)

I have as many cucullata left as you need. I have some very nice sized gardenias. I have a small althea that is double lavendar, but no pinks. I could root you some, and they would likely be ready in time. If not I will have several cuttings in the rooting cup that are on their way to rooting and will let you have the cup full so you can be sure to get a good one.

Garland, TX(Zone 8a)

I have updated my list to make sure I have everything started that everyone has asked for. If I've promised you something, please check now to make sure you're on there. I thought I had promised more of a couple of these.

Josephine, may I have one of your Argentine Sky's and one of your frogfruits?

Someone--Sheila, was it you? listed pickerel plants. I'd love to try one, but my pond is shallow. Does it need to be more than 2 feet deep?

Dennis, would you please put my name on one of your Gulf coast penstemons? Please check my list and see if there's anything I can bring for you.

pbtxlady.....A Pickerel doesn't need deep water at all it will be fine in 8". I will put one aside for you. Do you want some of the Sweet Flag also?

Seguin, TX(Zone 8b)

charlene....could I possibly have a xanadu?

pbtxlady-do you have any more blue skullcap? And if the blue scabiosa survives could I have a division?

banana18-did you have me down for a brazilian verbena? Also, could I have some society garlic?

debnes_dfw_tx-could I have some milkweed seeds?

broncbuster- any chance I could have some chinese indigo?

cocoa_lulu-could I have some pink skullcap?

Sorry for all the requests....lol.

Kim

Grapevine, TX(Zone 8a)

pbtxlady - Sorry, but gulf coast penstemons are on my want list instead of my have list. :(

Dennis

Buffalo, TX(Zone 8b)

Blue eyes, a xandu for a passiflora 'Lady Lavender'?

Colleyville, TX(Zone 8a)

Pbtxlady, I didn't ask for dunce plant. Although, now I am curious.
Blue Eyes, that will not be a problem for your request.
Mitch, do you want a Zepherine Drouin rose? It is a climber and needs lots of room. Beautiful blooms in the spring.

Seguin, TX(Zone 8b)

Charlene, I was already bringing you a lady lavender for the lemon manihot, but if you want another one I can put you down for two.

Thanks banana!

Buffalo, TX(Zone 8b)

Blue eyes don't need two lady lavendars, so how about ice carnival?

Josephine, Arlington, TX(Zone 8a)

O.K. Carla putting you down for argentine skies and frogfruit.
Josephine.

Seguin, TX(Zone 8b)

I've got you down for ice carnival...thanks!

Garland, TX(Zone 8a)

Kim, I'll see if I can get another skullcap going. And you can sure have the scabiosa.

Dennis, I'll keep an eye out for the penstemon for both of us.

Anna, it wasn't you who asked for the second duncecap (hens & chicks)? Okay, I'll have to go back and see who it was. Do you want one? They are so cute... about the size of a quarter...look like silver wax. Picture below of one of the babies.

Thanks, Sheila, for the pickerel. On the sweet flag, yes, please! That's so pretty. Can I bring you some of the lemon bacopa?

Josephine, it was me, not Carla, who asked about the guaranitica and frogfruit. Thank you!
