Ok....so this is so we can see the lists, and then on the first page we edit them? Or can we edit them here?
:) Kim
Kim I tried to edit mine and cannot see the edit option.
Posted a thread on Dave's to see if there is any way it can be done.
There is a way to do it....just open the hyperlink, and click the wording at the top that says "in reply to". It will take you straight to the thread and allow editing.
Excellent work Sheila, I tried it and it woks, Bravo!!!!
This is wonderful.. I hated in years past having to hunt for th newest information and drag them up to the old post and keep making it all work like that..
This is perfect.
Very cool! :)
Great, if anyone adds another list they can dmail me if I don't see it and I can add their link so we keep them all together.
sheila, when i get my list ready do i post here or on the other thread? i thought this thread was going to be for trade lists only so now i am confused.
Here is fine, then I will put your link on the post at the top of the thread so everyone can find it easy, including you when you need to edit.
yes, i love that so please bring me one. thank you.
Do you mean the same but with pink flowers?
i might can find a pink one at an old house place that is close by. i will go and look next week. there was some mauve 4 oclocks there last year. does anyone want any of that? or is anyone intersted in unknown canna that also comes from there? or tall white ruellia? or white yarrow?
I have pink ruellia, but not the dwarves, if anyone is interested. Mine are about a foot tall. They do spread, but not as rampantly as the others.
Mamajack, I would love to get a start of the tall white ruellia from you.
Pbtxlady, can I get some of the tall pink ruellia from you please.
I will have a list up this week hopefully.

Sure, Sheila, you got it.
"Mamajack, I would love to get a start of the tall white ruellia from you.
Pbtxlady, can I get some of the tall pink ruellia from you please."
Same for me please?
LMK what you are looking for...
mitch and sheila..........got you both down for tall white ruellia.
Adding you, Mitch, for the pink ruellia.
Thank you!
Hello Everybody, Please check my list, I finally have it up.
Josephine.
Josephine, I think I may have the permisson. but I will double check the kind. I would love the desert willow if it is not spoken for yet.
Anna
Anna, I will see if I can find another one, I just gave that one to Pat.
I will let you know.
Josephine.
Thanks for looking, Josephine.
Do you think having two threads are confusing? What do you all think about using this thread only from now on?
Anna
I think it is a great idea Anna, I will try to do that since we can find the lists on this one as well.
Josephine.
Josephine, could I have the Mt. Laurel, please?
Does anyone have any columbine? Or other plants that do well with shade? I am hoping to put in a shade bed next spring.
:) Kim
Kim, I have one but I'm nervous about dividing it. I need some very precise instruction.
Broncbuster, yes I will put your name on the Mountain Laurel, and please don't divide your columbine, if you only have one don't risk killing it.
_______________________________________________________________________
Pbtxlady, which type of Ash tree do you have? I would prefer a seedling if possible.
Josephine.
Josephine, I have Texas Ash, the type that's indigenous to our area. Do you know how to propagate them? I have what appears to be a pair--one male, one female. But I have never seen any seedlings or even anything that I could confidently call a seed.
Kim, my dad has the native (yellow) columbine which has spread seedlings all over his place. I could try to transplant one of those, if yellow is okay. I also have a blue one, which I don't want to divide but could bring seeds from (if I can remember where I put them!). LMK.
Pattie
The yellow would be great if you could. Thank you so much!
Kim
Texas ash is great, I have never done green cuttings of trees, normally we do the dormant cuttings, but you could try a tip cutting with at least 4 leaf nodes, remove the leaves from the two lower nodes and plant it in loose potting soil water well and keep it in the shade, and as moist ad possible, and we might get lucky, you never know. I want this for the Fielder house the Ash is a great larval host for the tiger swallowtail butterfly.
You are a real sweetheart, do I have anything on my list that you need or want?
Josephine.
Frostweed, I was up in Decatur this weekend visiting the in-laws, and I found a willowleaf aster and took a few seeds. What is the best way to sow these?
Also, what is the Gaura-like plant that grows to 5-6ft tall? I saw alot of those in bloom but no seeds yet.
If nobodyelse wants that other Mt. Laurel, I'd love to have 2. But keep it on your list 'til everyone gets to see it. I don't want to be a plant hog. I just really love those little trees!
Normally you sow those in the fall, but I have much better luck with cuttings.
You can have one or two of mine. I will see about the Mountain laurel too.
The Gaura is not the the giant one, but is very light and airy, they are small rooted cuttings.
So, the plants I saw in Decatur were Giant Gauras?
Thank you, I'd love to have a couple of your asters.
Pat, could i have some of your Obidient plant, Mealy blue sage, and Liatris? if you still have them.
It is done Broncbuster.
