Oh goody road trip! Dibs on the window seat.
Scattelogical ramblings and desultory humor
We're already gone.
But my cup runeth over.
Then the levy was no longer dry. I never liked Levi jeans.
If I'm here I must be back, but if I went, where is the Tonic ?
And, more importantly, who drank all the Gin?
Click your heels - you're not in Marysville anymore.
I was doing it once. I mean, I was almost there. The zipper was just within a hair's breadth of my reach but I just couldn't get it.
Some say that, when you do, you can unzip from your chin to your belly button. Would that it were so easy to dress a dear. For you see, tomatoes venison is soooo dear.
BTW, there is no gin before Seagram's Extra Dry for drinking straight from the bottle, The Ancient Bottle.
With the genie in it?
Is there some sort of prize connected to this lunacy?
Only if we can outpost the Games thread!
And what is the prize -( since I would like to help out . . .)
bragging rights for one whole week ... or longer, if we continue to be the #1 blabbermouths
It was me Yankee. All the vodka was gone already.
You mean: insightful conversationalists, right?
Why don't we start the bragging today?
Insightful conversationalists... sounds like an oxymoron.
Is it just me - or have we become the games thread?
Oh yes! (she hastened to say) .... very insightful conversationalists. Or incite-ful. Take your pick.
I like incite-ful - but then I am a sociologist :-)
I'm a big leaguer. I like my hamburgers in big league proportions.
Opps! I'm supposed to be working!
I'm supposed to be working too!
Right outside my office window the ROTC are lining up. It still seems strange to me to see military uniforms on a campus, however, it does help students pay for their education.
Two years ago, I walked into class and asked "Who had the best weekend."
One fellow - a tall, athletic type said, "I don't know about the best weekend, but I probably had the worst"
Wow - at first I didn't know how to respond - but I suspected he wouldn't have said anything if he didn't want me to ask the question. So I said, do you want to tell us what happened?
He had just been informed he was being shipped to Iraq at the end of his freshman year.
Despite the ludicrous nature of the thread, DG rules still apply. Be careful.
Now back to nonsense!
Thanks, Victor. It is good to have a reminder now and then. The difficulty is that my discipline always deals with controversial issues.
The volume of a right prism equals the area of a base times the height of the prism and is difficult, undisciplined and uncontroversial unless the cork gets pushed into the bottle.
I don't know... sounds like that one might be a heck of a lot easier with the cork left out of the bottle to begin with, lol!
:)
Dee
Think a few corks have been out of the bottle around here.
What about screws? I seem to have lost a few.
Unless you happen to be lettuce - then it is "off with his head".
And all the kings men couldn't put him back together again.
Nor Dr. Frankenstein.
So are we there yet?
