Came - please come. The first year I helped to put this together I did not have anything to bring but myself and still came home with plants. (I did bring a few odds and ends but nothing great it all fit into one little box)

I plan to come. Will gladly contribute food - probably poppyseed bread- and money.

Since you had the flood this year and lost many of them, which plants do you need the most?

larissa, how old is your daughter? mine will be 13 by the time this happens.

I'll be there with my 2 teens depending on their marching band schedule. They have UIL Region marching contest the week before, so it'll be a wait & see. My girls are 16 & 14.

Yea!!! Ted finally surfaced! LOL!! Since your son lives in this area you have no excuse not to join us Ted. It will be good to see you again.

My cannas and castor bean plants are doing great. I just don't have the knack for keeping the coleus alive though. :-(

Sheila I will show you how to keep them alive until spring.
Keep 32 different ones alive and well last winter. Planted over a 100

Please do, I love them in the flower beds especially where I don't have a lot of long blooming items. They add so much color. I bought some at Archie's this year but they don't put names on them like you do. LOL!

Same here.. I ahve one little guy I kept for this spring. They are great in the right place.

I'm coming for sure, and maybe my daughter too.
Heck - she's coming ! I know how to lay a really good
guilt trip on her, LOL.

I'll bring something to eat, plus some cash and gifts,
but I really don't have any plants to trade. Drowned
or just gave up after a long struggle. I'm starting over
next year with natives, plus some lavender and Russian
sage, and keeping it to a minimum. What hasn't drowned
or fried has been devoured by the bag worms this year.

Looking forward to seeing you all in person. :o)

My wife, Becky, and I are marking our calender. I see no reason why we couldn't chip in on the space rental and bring some food - most likely a banana pudding - unless there is a list somewhere of needed food.

I may try to pot up some cuttings but have never done this kinda thing before and I don't really have anything too exotic.

Great Carl, we would love to meet more new members! As for trading plants, there are always new comers that don't feel they have much to offer. But you would be surprised what others want and we always have plenty to share.

I'm planning on coming not sure if anyone is coming with me right now
will let ya know closer for sure and as to food will see what is needed and go from there once the food thread is going and I think I can swing $5 to help with rental too.

Well I just checked the head count and as of now we have 63 people coming and 29 of them are members, the rest family, so it is going to be a great gathering. So come on everybody and meet your fellow DGers.
I reserved the pavilion today so it is ours, I am very excited.
