Thanks, mystic!! I really appreciate it! Since I live so far up atop a hill, my connection speed is only 26.4 kbps on a good day. We have a lot of trouble with our phone lines, too, but high-speed internet isn't available to us. Heck, we can't even get cable tv!

Anyway, just curious to see if everyone who ordered the apron chose khaki, since they're already out of stock for now...story of my life, I tell ya--a day late and a dollar short. LOL

Ewing, KY(Zone 6a)

You're welcome. Terry so you designed your own key chain? I didn't realize we could do that. I see this getting me in even more trouble.

Murfreesboro, TN(Zone 7a)

Uhhh, yeah - and my own t-shirt, since I wanted a different style than what Dave put in the store ;o)

South/Central, FL(Zone 9a)

I think I saw where you can do their mugs that way, also. They didn't have many choices tho.

I pleaded for them to consider adding the flower pot mugs...who knows, maybe someone at Zazzle will think they're clever and add them to their inventory ;o)

Highland Heights, KY(Zone 6a)

Oooo, flowerpot mugs sound adorable!

KW,

These are what the last ones I got looked like. they're not available anymore, but aren't they neat?
I just love the ones I bought, and anyone drinking coffee at my house gets one of these mugs.

milk, no sugar please.

How cute! Love your begonias, too. Thanks for posting the picture!

Ladies,
I hope Terry is successful in convincing ZAZZLE to carry this style mug!!

#1. How more perfect can that shape- a plant pot- be for our group?

#2. It's truly the most "comfortable to hold" mug that I've ever owned.

#3. because...because...we WANT IT!! LOL

Honestly, I love it so much that even tho I already have some, I'd order a half dozen more-just so I never run out of them.

I want our logo on mine! :)

Murfreesboro, TN(Zone 7a)

On my own, I *might* be persuasive. But I would imagine that adding many more polite requests for that style mug will carry a lot more weight than a single email.

BTW, I received a note from the survey creator. Please don't send any more notes directly to her, because she can't add items to the survey and she doesn't make buying decisions.

Instead, the best way to add your $0.02 worth to Zazzle is through their forum here: http://forum.zazzle.com/feedback - in fact, the first thread is a wishlist, which is probably the best place to post your suggestions (mugs and anything else you really want, but wasn't on the survey ;o)

KyWoods, absolutely with the DG logo ;o)

But the first step is to get Zazzle to carry that style of mug - if they agree to do that, then Dave can offer it (with the DG logo) in the davesgarden Zazzle store, or we can use the graphics in the "Extras" section to personalize it on our own.

Highland Heights, KY(Zone 6a)

Terry, I didn't see 'mugs' on the list on that link--do we email them with our "flowerpot mug" request?

Murfreesboro, TN(Zone 7a)

Exactly - it's not on the survey, so it's probably not on their "radar screen"

The best way to get them to consider it is to ask them directly via their forums (link above.)

Highland Heights, KY(Zone 6a)

Just emailed them! Yep, that would be really cute with the logo!

I have a silly question--does Dave get a cut from our purchases? I think he oughta...

Terry,

I just wrote them, and sent them the pic that I just posted here, awhile ago.
Thanks for the "Heads UP) !!

You mean they come with the stuffing? I want one! Wait, make it two! Or should I order 3?

Highland Heights, KY(Zone 6a)

Yes, I agree, that baby's quality is truly excellent!

Newark, OH(Zone 5b)

I want to cuddle that stuffing! Gosh, I never thought I'd ever say that phrase. LOL

Peachtree City, GA(Zone 7b)

Can I get one of those already stuffed?
Amazing eyes!

How adorable....but then, I've never met a baby I didn't like!! LOL jo

Milton, MA(Zone 6a)

Yeah, I want to know if dave et al. get a cut, or does zazzle keep all the money? [Won't stop me from ordering either way.]

Glad that zazzle turned out well!

Glad that my DH found it 5 months ago so I could suggest it here!

DG, NameMedia...Whoever...Get a cut, yes. If it's set up like CafePress, there is a base price per item, and the seller can mark it up however much desired.

Actually, it works differently than Cafepress. Zazzle just sets the price however they want, and then give some percentage commission to DG/NameMedia.

dave

Milton, MA(Zone 6a)

thanks for the clarification, dave, I didn't think it was the same set up as Cafepress. And there can be some really outrageous prices on Cafepress.

Mystic, can you put the link to the DG Zazzle store in your first post on this thread? It would be so helpful to those who haven't the time to weed through the old one.
Thanks.

Ewing, KY(Zone 6a)

Sheila_FW it's been added thanks for asking.

Newark, OH(Zone 5b)

Cool, thanks for the clarification. I might look into that site. Cafepress' base prices are too high in the first place on some merchandise.

Hey, Dave, do you know if NameMedia has any kind of storefront sites like you used to offer?

Quoting:

That's the main reason I went with Zazzle...

They sure don't, and I don't expect them to begin. :-)

dave

Newark, OH(Zone 5b)

You hope not, at any rate! LOL

Oh, they're welcome to as long as they don't ask me to be involved. ;-)

Peachtree City, GA(Zone 7b)

Ok Dave, this has been driving me crazy for months...I get the DG Admin, and I assume the PF is plant files and the BF would be bug files, but what in the world is the UBER?
I play poker on Ultimate Bet, which we call UB...so the only thing I see from the UBER...is Ultimate Bet...er
I know thats not it, but my brain is stuck on that.

This explains it, Chris: http://davesgarden.com/faq/home/#120

Peachtree City, GA(Zone 7b)

Thanks faeden, I dont feel so stupid anymore because it is one of the FAQ. Now I will go to the "link in plantfiles" to find out what the letters actually stand for.

chris

Wow, there are so many areas of DG that I have yet to browse. I am honored to know that the advice we are getting come from such knowledgeable and dedicated people.

Still didnt find out what the letters stand for!!!!!! LOL
