At the request of others we will start a second page. Please share your blooms with us and bring some sunshine to a dreary day. (it's been raining all day)
Here's Elegant Lady again as I find her very elegant!

What's blooming today # 2
Celeste, I love that poppy view.
Thanks Harper, , there was supposed to be a green headed Bee in there. He flew away just as I clicked and I ended up with that close up.
Yes, nice shot Celeste. I love up close and personal shots.
My camera doesn't get that close so I have to settle for less... I enjoy everyone else's closeups.
Nice shots Pirl. Hmm - pink lips in the Tuscan sun. My mind is wandering...
I like your close-up, Pixie.
Pirl, those Iris are spectacular. All 3 pics are superb.
Andy P
Very nice Pirl. I'm starting to get jealous of all you guys who have dedicated beds!! Al has dedicated beds and he says he only grows one of everything. How many beds must he have??!! All my beds are mixed. Even the one I sleep in - one wife, one husband.
venu, I have gotten my first Delphinium blooms too. Hope mine last. Do I remember correctly - did you order from Graceful Gardens as well??
30 beds - no waiting.
Thank you, Andy. Coming from you it means a lot. Love the Sunset Echinacea.
Two of my GG Delph's are in bloom, just not as tall as expected but my fault in planting them a tad late.
30!!!! Marone!!
Great combo, venu.
I like that too! Venu - has Al seen your echinacea? What is the purple bell? I have a perfect spot for that in my yard.
Arlene - as always - I love shot's of your yard.
Victor, your memory serves you better than your hairline. Yes mine came from GG also. First time I ordered from them but will not be the last.
Celeste - I do like that Elegant Lady, the poppy pic is cool.
Looks good Pirl - you're all night gardening is paying off.
Venu - I like the colors on that last pic.
venu, it's easier to remember now without all that hair weighing me down.
you float like a bumblebee, but weed like a bee.
Anita, the bell is Clematis Rooguchi, it can climb or tumble along the ground. I recently discovered I have two. The one that is scrambling along the ground looks more natural for some reason.
Lately, I be weeding lots.
Cool - I planted Rooguchi this year.
Pirl, do you have any longer shots of the Japanese iris in the rear garden?
Hatsu Kagami is a beauty!
Victor, you will love rooguchi. If you're weeding lots, I'm doing lots of weeding. There's not a lot of them but the lot I have are HUGE. I pull and they pull me. Sometimes it ends in a push. Cripes!
Pirl your Iris's are beautiful! I love J. I. above all Iris's, in MHO they are more elegant than the others. I only have 2 different ones.......but im workimg on that!
Pixie - thanks. I couldn't agree with you more about JI's. I started out with three or four of them, then bought a bag of mixed ones, then Jack grew some from seed. Then came the computer and easy access to Ensata/Iris City Gardens/Aitkens and now I have quite a few. I do have some photos of the ones in the back but not great ones.
Yes, Victor, 30 but that's only because I used to have a word processor and had to fit all the information for each garden on a page so some gardens ended up with 3 parts. It's probably more like 16 but one of them is 100 x 20 so you can see why the names wouldn't fit on a single page. Only 13 of them are dedicated.
Venu - Rooguchi is beautiful. I'll get that one with my next order. I have Oshomiro coming in the mail any day now.
If anyone comments on your lack of hair just tell them that God made just so many perfect heads and the rest he covered with hair.
When asked what his favorite fantasy was Don Rickles once said: To wake up in the morning with hair in my eyes.
It would be Catherine Zeta Jones' hair in his eyes.
In Don's eyes or in Victor's?
Do I have to tell you?
Good morning Arlene!
Don, Michael...bottom line - it's not me. Sniff sniff.
Oh Victor! Would you know what to do if she appeared on your doorstep today?
Depends if there was anyone else home.
Love the delphiniums -- I was told recently that delphiniums and lupine both need really good drainage and should be in hills (or at least at the top of a hill!) ... this could explain why I keep losing both of them ...
I know that's definitely true for Delphiniums. I planted all of mine in pots or on a slope.
