Polly - you never fail to impress me with your knowledge.
What is growing nicely for you right now? page 2
I find it interesting. You can be the iris guru!
Thanks, this is my passion. Better say my flower passion.
Timely correction before Victor, Dave and Al comment.
Pirl, I was answering Candy about the hail and my plants. The hail parted my Rugosa bush down the middle but all the other plants are fine. Clear now? LOL
Aha! Yes. This thread has been so busy today! Polly is the only one actually doing anything.
Polly is done. Just went out and did a little more weeding, stood up, and felt the enough is enough feeling. I don't have an awful lot of weeds this year, and have kept on top of it pretty good, probably as it has been so dry.
May I send you directions to our gardens?
Nope, going shopping.
Give me a break, if you have any weeds in your garden, they're shivering in fear.
This thread has given me motion sickness.
Yes.
Eleanor - many of the low creeping ones have yellow flowers and aren't a big expense. You could mingle a few together and it would look very nice with the different leaves on each of them.
Whoever took down the trees certainly left you with a replanting job and ruined what had been so lovely.
such a shame grammy.... i planted some of that same yellow on one of my slopes... can't believe how fast it's spreading.. very pretty though
Your gardens are so far ahead of us up north. My rose are just starting to bloom. Joy
It's so beautiful Joy, lush and green!
Joy - enjoy what blooms for you whenever it blooms. We can't compete, weather wise, with California or Florida and I don't get into those contests. It's a waste of time. Their plants are the first to get cooked in summer time heat.
