Sounds fun I have to go make my jello and find my ice chest and clean it up, I`m bringing a cornbread and butter too. If I didn`t have all this stuff to do, I`d meet you guys too, but I better not get side tracked. See you all tomorrow.
Chairs?!!?!?
Louise, you don't need to bring chairs this year as Don has it covered.
Naien, Scott, you have dmail.
Donna
Ok you guys, I know I'm lame and all, but I can't find the time for tomorrow and I can't seem to locate directions either. Can someone help me please?
thanks,
Mark
It start at 10am....
Here's what DrDon said to get there:
Directions and last minute reminders to SoCal's DGRU part III.......
From Interstate 15 guests are directed to exit at the Rancho California Road offramp.
If you are coming up from the south you'll turn right on Rancho California Road, If from the north you'll turn left. This will put you eastbound on Rancho California Road headed into the Temecula Valley Wine Country.
Continue on Rancho California Road for approximately 5 miles until you reach very large and visible signs on the right-hand side of the road that say ANZA ROAD.........
Turn right on Anza Road.
Your second possible left-hand turn will be a well marked dirt road called LOS NOGALES ROAD......
Turn left onto Los Nogales Road
Stay on Los Nogales Road for approximately one mile until you reach the end of Los Nogales Road.
You'll then be at the ranch as it should be right in front of you unless a worm hole opens up and our whole place is sucked into another dimesional plane...... If a worm hole or any other atmospheric anomalies do affect the dimesional plane the ranch has been moved to please use this link.......
Who coming down from the North California

Hi All, Glad to see the directions. Can someone confirm a start time? I saw a nomination for 10, but nothing to confirm. Looking forward to seeing y'all there!
Hi Lisa, the time for the RU is 10am - 5pm. sharp. We will be eating around 12 noon.
See ya soon,
Donna
I went to see weegy12's iris yard and got 2 of iris "Holy Night" (black purple color) and 'Color Tart' cream pink I can't remember the color is! lol... My mind is killing me to see so traffic jam on West I-60 and on way back to Banning on I-10 again traffic jam so I saw there is accident on I-10 near my motel and took pic of this van turn over alot and man is okay but look bad shape! I couldn't stand on traffic jam freeway for 2 hrs! Sheesh! It hot and I can't stand of smoggy (hard to breath)....
Thanks Donna! Wow, sharp, huh? I'd better get my cooking started. It's been a long week.
Ok Louise made the jello, and bringing corn bread and butter and a big tub of guacamole too and white zin incase someone wants a real cheap wine. lol
Sherry I`m just going to drive my clean truck and take my chances on possibilities of taking home a left over plant or two and atleast not damaging the ones you bring me.
Rusty are you saying that you don`t miss California any more?? lol
Do name tags say both names? I assume or do we need our cheat sheets?
Dawn
Well, This is my last trip to California and never come back to California again... Too much to see suffer build more shopping center and more homes, too... I grew up in Fontana all my life... Then my mom pass away 2 yrs ago so I move to Missouri which I like it that there is very nice town where I live at...
Dawn, you can't hurt the pampas grass,,,they're 5 gal pots, but cut back totally, but you wouldn't be able to hurt it anyway! You can stick them in plastic bags so they don't mess your upholstery and the car should be fine if you want to drive it instead of the truck.
Dawn, The name tags will have the DG member name and your real name. Your DH will have his name and your DG name too, so people will know who he belongs too. lol
I am bringing a few extra plants in case you would like to take them and give them a new home.
Donna
Anna, Many people want to leave California, but don't know where they want to go. You'e lucky to have known where you wanted to go and lucky to be out of all of this traffic. The last couple of years there are more people leaving San Diego County than there are coming in so I think it's safe to say a lot of people are fed up. Maybe we'll all move to Missouri and keep you company! I've heard it's very nice there. Some of my family way back were among the first white settlers there and I have family buried there in Stone County. The old family homestead is under water, swallowed up by one of the lakes, but I would like to go back there and look around. Maybe next year.
Sherry
CBernard has been called and taken care of.
Dawn made the jello soup
Janice,
Will you look at the legs on that gal of yours!!! She is going to tower over me by a foot. lol Yep, those roots look like they were going to China.
Please tell Fiona and your son congrats from me for getting those wonderful awards tomorrow.
See you both soon,
Donna
I couldn't pry my DH out of here. Any other climate would be equivalent to moving home to England for him - and I couldn't stand the loss of daylight there! Perhaps the Spanish coast where his brother has retired...on second thought, perhaps not.
I'm a California girl, too, Anna.
I've always thought I would love England, Ireland or Scotland. I really, really like green. And cool, moist air.
I like to go to see Germany!
Not soup so far but I`m hopeful. lol looks pretty darn good if I do say so myself. I don`t think anyone will get lost or anything but in case someone needs to call anyone can that person get a number on a dmail? I should be fine, just follow the dust cloud and the smell of food.
Donna thanks any plants are welcomed and appreciated, it will be worth a car wash again.
They are beautiful and nice for a change, Sherry, but I would find myself longing for sun before very long. DH was surprised at the difference in Ireland - he thought green would be green, but acknowledged it was different from England. Haven't been to Cornwall, though - that might be better. The nice thing about living there would be the cheap trips to the Continent. There are lots of places I would like to see, but traveling from here is just too expensive.
Yes, I`d love to go to Austria and Holland for the tulip fest, see Ireland and thatch houses, maybe go to a concentration camp over there too, to honor the Holicaust survivors and some other places that I`m curious about too.
