T-shirts is good as same Cafepress... I think Zazzle is number 1....

Great report, Rusty56 - thank you!

I checked my mailbox yesterday. I got a lot of junk mail and a catalog from Exciting Gardens (of all places. Who knows how they even got my name and address) but nothing from Zazzle. Maybe today.

The tension builds...

Your Welcome, Dave...You will get by tomorrow I think! (maybe!)

The products all came today!!! I just got back from the mailbox.

I ordered a shirt, mousepad, bumper sticker plus a sheet of round 3" stickers.

The quality exceeded my expectations and I'm happy to be able to give the thumbs up to Zazzle. I have added the store link to the Extras menu.

http://davesgarden.com/extras.php

The mousepad surprised me with its quality. There was zero pixelation. Additionally, it seems to have been screen printed (the preferred shirt method) and looks like it'll hold up for a long time. The shirt is thicker than the original DG shirts that we sold by the hundreds over the last couple years.

So, I'm happy! I'll post some pictures of the products later.

Newark, OH(Zone 5b)

I can't wait to see that Brick-stuffed onsie, Dea! How excellent to hear the good reports on Zazzle's quality. We can't wait! :)

Scottsdale, AZ(Zone 9b)

Wow. What a great selection of shirts! My only request is a "baseball" cap with adjustible back strap - NOT trucker cap. Ewww.

Also, how about a 1/2 apron (waist tie) instead of the one from the neck. In my climate that full apron would killl me. Definately the baseball cap if you could, please?

Thanks for all of your research, Dave! You're going to have hundreds of walking billboards in no time!

Mesilla Park, NM

I had a problem getting the order in, but will try tomorrow, it said that internet explorer had a problem. I too would love the baseball caps. Thanks for getting this together..

Lincoln, NE(Zone 5a)

I came, I saw, I bought a tank top. Thanks so much, Dave, for making this happen!

Unfortunately Zazzle doesn't offer baseball caps, which was a huge disappointment to me as I also prefer that kind of hat.

Also, the apron they have is the only one they offer. Here's a tip when I used to work at one of those 24-hour breakfast type restaurants (think waffle house): take your fullsize apron and hold it out in front of you. Then fold it so that the top half falls down behind the bottom half. Then tie the strings around your waist and you now have a waste-down apron!!

Murfreesboro, TN(Zone 7a)

I ordered a navy-blue t-shirt today (and a keychain - that way I'll always have DG logo on me when I'm out and about. I'll report back on the fit and weight of the t-shirt when it arrives.

I wonder if Zazzle would entertain a suggestion for flower-pot terracotta mugs to add to their standard mug offerings ;o)

Chevy Chase, MD(Zone 7a)

Not to mention baseball caps.

Scottsdale, AZ(Zone 9b)

Big bummer about the baseball caps. BIG bummer.

Yeah, I thought about folding the apron, too. Guess I could.

Highland Heights, KY(Zone 6a)

Oh, no, I'm a day late!! (always "a day late and a dollar short"...LOL) I hope there's still some left for me! Cute onesies!!! And as for caps, nobody sees me in 'em out here yanking weeds in the woods, and all I care about is that it keeps the ticks outa my hair. Eeeeek! OK, enough yakkin', I'm off to Zazzle...

Murfreesboro, TN(Zone 7a)

A couple things we can all do to help Dave and Zazzle:

1) Here's a survey they're doing to see what items are most important to add: http://www.quia.com/sv/122282.html

When I took the survey, I asked for address and other labels (I love the idea of having DG labels for my salsa and other home-canned items); caps other than trucker's style, boxes and mailing supplies (handy for trades), and sticky notes ;o)

I think it would be very helpful to them if we all took the survey, and asked for our own personal wish-list items. Also, at the bottom of the survey is an email link to contact the survey's creator. I sent them a note, asking if they would consider adding more mug options - or at least add that as a survey item to gauge the interest level. I explained what our flowerpot mugs looked like, in the hopes it would pique their interest.

2) Be sure to "rate" the DG items you purchase, when you're ready to give feedback: http://www.zazzle.com/davesgarden That will help them ensure their quality standards remain high.

Highland Heights, KY(Zone 6a)

What? The khaki colored apron is out of stock already!!!!

Edit: Ohhhh, it says "temporarily out of stock"...but it does say, "please choose another color". Hey, I like to be different. Maybe I should get yellow--we do have a deer hunter that lives in these woods. :0

Oh my! What a list on that survey. I'm in. Back later. lol

Edited: ROFL.....Panties, Pajamas and Pillow Cases. They'll read, "I sleep in Dave's Garden" or "I like sleeping DGirty". Sorry. Hehehe.

Wow, can't believe they're out of those aprons already! Well, yes - I can! You've got us all in a buying frenzy!!

Ewing, KY(Zone 6a)

Terry where did you find the keychains? I didn't see them.

Murfreesboro, TN(Zone 7a)

Here ya go: http://www.zazzle.com/custom/keychains

I had already downloaded the DG logo to add to the t-shirt, so I just plunked it on a keychain and resized it to fit ;o)
