Happy Easter to Andy & all!!

Milton, MA(Zone 6a)

Dave, you notice that Andy tried to call you Doug but it came out Dough. Maybe he's making bread?

hop hop hop! Carrie

Brockton, MA(Zone 6a)

I always use SpellCheck, not WordCheck, LOL

Southern, CT(Zone 6a)

Thanks Carrie. I couldn't figure out why he was calling me dough. I know it wasn't because I'm wealthy!

(Zone 4a)

Hoppy Easter everyone hehehee!!!

Well last night I planted some dahlia seeds - we will see how those do. Pirl convinced me that I should.

Wheatfield, NY(Zone 6a)

Happy Easter, to one and all!

Andy, at first glance that pic looks like that bee is hatching from an egg. very Easter appropriate.

Dawn, I was given some dahlia seeds (Diablo) that I am attempting to germinate. Actually, I wintersowed and one had germinated on 4/1, but with the freezing weather, it's probably a goner. Too cold out to check. Hopefully, more will come when it warms up.

Dave changes his name too much. I still think we should call him Julie.

(Zone 4a)

Julie sounds nice LOL

Fairfield County, CT(Zone 6b)

Julie is kinda girlie - what about Jules like Jules Verne? I vote that we change Al's name too!

Oviedo, FL(Zone 9b)

I just put wind in because we get so much up here on the hilltop.

Nichols, IA(Zone 5a)

I always enjoy catching up on this thread.

Martha, my sympathies for Noodles too. So sad.

ROTFL at changing Al's name.

All my flowers are frozen :((

I think most of them will be OK. It's been more than raw here. Bitterly cold, windy and just miserable.

My daffodils LAST week.

It's not natural to be this cold for Easter. We didn't get out of the 30s today, and windy.

When I think of 'raw' weather, I think that someone has sandpapered off the first few layers of my skin, then gave me a flu-bug and left me to sit outside in the cold with a thin tee shirt and shorts. Ouch!

Okay, that was really gross and graphic. Sorry! Nice pics Andy! Nice pics Carrie! Did you have a good time in Manhattan?

Harper

Fairfield County, CT(Zone 6b)

I thought we were changing Dave47's name.

Appleton, WI(Zone 5a)

You were changing me to Al2 - Electric Bugaloo?

Southern, CT(Zone 6a)

I had one lone hellebore flower out here today.

I'll call you Betty & Betty, when you call me you can call me Al.

Or I can be bigcitydave and you can be Al47

Fairfield County, CT(Zone 6b)

But Guilford isn't exactly a "big city". And 46 OTHER Als? Now that is scary.

Wheatfield, NY(Zone 6a)

What's the population of Guilford as opposed to, say, (let's pick a place at random)Manasha, WI?

and Al47 could just be the new and improved model.

can I be Betty?

Fairfield County, CT(Zone 6b)

If I can be thin, rich and beautiful!

Framingham, MA(Zone 6a)

you guys are too much... can't leave you guys unnattended for very long... s few more days and I would not know who is who... have mercy!!!!
I am alredy confused... Al is the Tuberkepper... and there is only 1 of him... but Dave on the other hand is number 47... so is that an improved Dave from all the 46 before???

as usual Andy I really enjoy your pictures.... very interesting!!!!!

Carrie, hope you had a good time in NYC... I haven't been there for such a long time!

Appleton, WI(Zone 5a)

Bettypapa - Menasha is 16,000 people. The population of the area I plant shop(within 40 miles) is about 350,000. Doesn't really stack up to large cities, pretty high for WI though.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

I think there were 16,000 people just on my block in Queens growing up!

Victor (aka Babbalou)

Appleton, WI(Zone 5a)

You got me there. Probably have more than the one murder a year we average here too.

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

OMG.....I'm a hick!!!!
"China is a town in Kennebec County, Maine, United States. The population was 4,106 at the 2000 census"
Ok......everyone can go ahead and laugh!

Appleton, WI(Zone 5a)

You must have been in denial huh?

That's OK - the town I grew up in was 1,100 and most of the towns around it were the same size.

I still laughed tho.

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Thanks Al..I knew I could count on you!

Fairfield County, CT(Zone 6b)

OMG! The population of guilford, CT in the 2000 census was 21,398! Guess it IS bigcityDave47 afterall. OMG again! Bridgeport's population is 139,529! Guess I'm going to be bigcitykitty from now on.

Appleton, WI(Zone 5a)

Cat's don't count do they?

Wheatfield, NY(Zone 6a)

bigcitykitty has a nice ring to it. I still like Julie, but we don't want to confuse Kassia

Nichols, IA(Zone 5a)

Harper, gross, but it made me laugh!

Bigcity Dave and Al47 ROTFL and L!!! I love it!

I'll stick with my alter ego Billy.

Boy, things are really starting to be confusing!

Pixie, I no laugh. I am one of 375. I'm a bigger hick in a smaller town! Sometimes it's nice to be a hick, as long as I don't say things like ''I hurted my el-be-bow.''

Southern, CT(Zone 6a)

Thanks bigcitykitty for clueing everyone in on the metropolis of Guilford,CT

Fairfield County, CT(Zone 6b)

Actually - it surprised me - I think of Guilford as "country". Al - cats are not included in census counts in Bridgeport - we count dead people and let them vote more than once in municipal elections, though.

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

billy, it's good to know im not the lone hick!!

Framingham, MA(Zone 6a)

ok.. I am still confused... but its a constant state I am in!!!

Fairfield County, CT(Zone 6b)

Bridgeport is one of those "special" places. Does it help to tell you that PT Barnham (of Barnham and Bailey Circus) was once the Mayor and that Bridgeport had a Socialist Mayor from 1915 - 1936?

Our last Mayor and State Senator are both in prison for corruption. So dead people voting is really the least of our worries. LOL

Kassia I have to laugh at the state you live in. Constant Confusion MA :))

I live in ''Did I Miss Something?'' Iowa :))

Framingham, MA(Zone 6a)

lol... you got it!!!.. sometimes I try to play with words and it back fires... but maybe this time I got it...

the weather here is also constantly confused! it doesn't know is Spring yet!

Nichols, IA(Zone 5a)

Laughing!

We finally warmed up to 51*. If the sun came out it might feel like it. It has to get better than this!

Southern, CT(Zone 6a)

Yankee, Given Bridgeport's track record, I think you would be better off if ONLY dead people voted.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Better - Bridgeport would be better off if only dead people held office.
