would someone tell this computer challenged AV gal how to use refresh....I always have to logout and then login to get new posts??????

Just go to the top of the screen where is says, File, edit, view favorites tools and help. Click on "view' than click on refresh and that should do it.
Congratulations to all the winners. It was a fun game! Also thanks to Plant and 3gardeners for all the work and the wonderful prizes.

Glamourpuss that shows how dense I am too.LOL All this time I always just went up next to the address bar on explorer and clicked on the little up/down arrow thingy with my mouse to refresh the page.Hey thanks! Now I also just figured out from your instructions also I can refresh the page just by hitting F5 on the top of my keyboard....Cool : )

there a easier way ,just look up top at the thread you will see 2 little square boxes ,one have a x in it the other has 2 error in it thats your refresh button then there the little house which is home try that.thats what i use

Eunice Yes that is it!! Thats what I was trying to say anyway.Thats what I use to refresh too. Now you better go ice that finger down.There will be a new bingo game next month and your finger needs to be in tip top shape : )

if your talking about refreshing the page ,you jus regular click on refresh and it refreshes

The only way I can refresh/reload a page is at the top of my screen to the left of the browser ... there's two little boxes with left and right arrows, < > for changing pages, then there's a box with a little curved arrow ( ) and then a box with a plus sign (+) then the long rectangular box with the http://davesgarden.com/forums name. I just click on the little box with the curved arrow and it automatically reloads/refreshes the page I'm on. I don't have anywhere in the edit or view area to refresh. But, all computers are different ... We have Mac's in our household. My hubby won't use anything else! He used to be known to some of our friends as MacPete ... if anyone had problems with their Mac's he was the one they called ... we still have one friend who calls ocassionally needing help. I have used both Mac's and PC's and I think the Macs are a lot more user friendly. Don't know why they are so costly though.

I use Xp and any where at any time I am on the web or Daves, I just right mouse click and click refresh on the box that comes up.
