Oh, I knew we would probably have our First and possibly Second place winners today! And, the day is not over yet .... wonder who else will claim 2nd, 3rd and 4th Prizes?

I still need one .... maybe tomorrow????!! I will be waiting for that next call tomorrow morning! :)

Buffalo, WV(Zone 7a)

I'm never up that early :~( My sleeping is out of whack.

Lana

Braselton, GA(Zone 7b)

Looks like tomorrow will be THE BINGO day..LOL Always comes down to the last few calls doesn't it....looks like you all have had a great time too!

(Zone 1)

Lana ... what time zone are you in? I believe you are an hour earlier than me, I'm Eastern time. Planti makes the calls at 7:30 a.m. her time, which is 9:30 a.m. Central Time and 10:30 a.m. in my time zone.

I do understand your statement about "Sleep being out of Whack"! The past couple of years mine has really been off! I can't nap during the day, just can never sleep during daylight hours! Every once in awhile when I get extremely overly tired I will be able to take a nap during the day, but most of the time it's just impossible! Some days I would just soooo relish a nice nap! I hate being sleep deprived!

Buffalo, WV(Zone 7a)

Since I'm not getting to sleep until 5 or 6am then 10:30 is when I'm snoozing best :~) I haven't been getting up till noon or after. I woke up early this morning, turned the bed warmer on when I got in bed and fell asleep without turning it off. Woke up hot and achey after 5 hours. I'm ready to go back to bed right now! LOL Maybe I can set my alarm in three days and get up long enough for the call *vbg* I have three still left. The game will probably be over by then anyway.

Lana

Waltham, MA(Zone 6a)

Sorry, yes, I spent the day relaxing. :-) I learned to knit last month, and now I'm having fun with that, while trying to keep my cats from gnawing on the yarn. And read part of a book. Um, and then after living in a bit of denial for a bit, went and did my taxes. I'm a total procrastinator.

But I'm very happy about winning bingo! It was a lot of fun playing, and all of the plants are so gorgeous, and it's fun to read about them and look at the pictures and such. Thank you to Planti and everyone for running it.

And good luck to everyone still playing! :-)

Today should be a big day.

North Augusta, ON

ugh.....woke up to 2 feet of heavy snow this am, now its freezing rain on top of it..winter won't go away!!!!!! (whimper)

ok..it's out of my system now....

Taft, TX(Zone 9a)

you are a good sport, threegardeners, that kind of weather wouldn't be out of my system for the whole day!!!!!!

(Zone 1)

Oh Threegardeners! Wow! Snow?! I wish I could send some warmer weather your way ... I had to drag plants back in again and I'm in Florida! It was in the 40's here last night! That is VERY unusual for this time of year! Going to be in the low 70's today, but boy are we having a lot of wind! Gusts of 40 mph. The weather folks said at times the winds are Tropical Storm Force Winds! Gales are blowing! Unusual for us to have a Nor'Easter this time of year!

Hope it warms up for everyone real soon! We will go directly into Hot, Humid, Sticky Summer ... Ugh! ..... I was hoping so much for a nice Spring Season for a change.

edited to correct spelling!

ackk....low 40's in Florida!!! wow.....
it took hubby over an how to get home from work this am, usually a 20 min. drive. The car is stuck sideways in the driveway, and the plows have come by and piled it high on the end...I'm not shovelling any more this year!!! Told hubby he can just call in sick til it melts!!!!

Taft, TX(Zone 9a)

I am soooooooooo tired of this wind ruining plants in pots that I am totally ready to give them up on the front porch or find some way to hang clear awnings.............we are to enjoy your same winds today, Lin.....which we get to enjoy every day in the spring.....gusts to 45mph they just announced on the local weather.
are your plants protected around your pool area??

(Zone 1)

I honestly cannot imagine living where snow piles up for months! I only saw a Snow Plow once in my life ... about 10 years ago when we visited Denver Colorado at Thanksgiving .... I didn't know what it was and my Husband (who has lived in Florida since the age of 8 months of age) informed me that it was a SnowPlow!

Oh yeah ... I had never been in temp's near or below zero before either ... and don't want to experience it ever again! LOL. It was 8 below when we got off the plane in Denver that time! Way tooooooo COLD for my old bones!

(Zone 1)

Hey Gail ... I have plants that are blown over on my pool deck ... I am really surprised I haven't found anything in the pool! We finally got about 1/2 " of rain yesterday and got some a couple of days ago too ... the pool is about to overflow! We still need a lot more rain to make up for the deficit. We have Red Flag Fire Warnings out everywhere today because of it being so dry and the high winds! They said the rain we've gotten the past few days is ...... GONE ...... didn't even put a dent in what we need in this area. it's just been so dry! I guess in a couple of months we will be praying for dry weather though ... the predictions are for 17 Hurricanes this year, and I think 5 Major ones! Hope they all stay away from the U.S. and the Islands and just turn back out to sea where they came from! I don't like Hurricanes! I remember the 2004 storms ... we had 4 come through Central Florida in 5 weeks. And, who will ever forget what Katrina did in The Gulf Coast States? Mother Nature sure can do damage at times. But, I really think all these weather changes and storms etc are caused by human beings ... we have trashed this earth with our pollution and every year the weather patterns are more weird and storms more fierce.

North Augusta, ON

I've thought long and hard about moving to a warmer climate, but I just keep thinking that I would never trade my 5 or 6 months of snow a year for one single hurricane, nope, not worth it. I have to take my hat off to you that deal with them many times a year.....

Spokane, WA(Zone 5b)

Good Morning, Everyone!! I can see you all are up and at the ready. It's 7:13 am my time so it's close to call time :)

We are having a relatively mild spring here in eastern Washington state for which I am thankful. But our weather pattern that has been increasing is a mild wet spring followed by hot and very dry summer. So spring grows an amazing amount of grass and undergrowth which dries out to perfect tinder in the summer. Then we get fires...lots of them!

Taft, TX(Zone 9a)

I am not even winning anything and here I sit waiting for the call!!!
