Mooresville, NC(Zone 7b)

So do I need to find them in my lasagna bed and get them out or are they fine being in there?

KC Metro area, MO(Zone 6a)

They should be fine. Just be prepared for all the noise they make starting at dusk. They get LOUD!

Calgary, AB(Zone 3a)

I'd be wacking those suckers with the biggest shovel I could find. Yuck. I'm still having nightmares about this thread! LOL

KC Metro area, MO(Zone 6a)

Brisvegas, Australia(Zone 12b)

Not game to add any more ,
I keep getting Flamed .
I had some good Pics , Oh Well.

Rome, GA(Zone 7b)

Ginger I wasn't flaming you. Just pointing out that you were missing an opportunity to further frighten Pinger by telling her it was a common insect. Especially with the wierd pictures and especially since you come from the country where most critters are poisonous or otherwise deadly.

Long Beach, CA(Zone 10a)

Just wait until you've seen a Jerusalem Cricket...talk about UGLY !!! Although, they look cute compared to that Cicada.

Brisvegas, Australia(Zone 12b)

Thought I would Just add this little fella .
His sting is 4 times worse than a wasp sting .
A Walking Work of Art .

Rome, GA(Zone 7b)

See there, Ginger just wants you to think you don't have aliens in you soil. The picture pretty much guarantees Ginger is working WITH the aliens.

Ginger, that's actually kind of a pretty bug, though I guess the sting would not be nice.
Come on, there's got to be way worse creepies in Australia. I hardly slept a wink when I visited in 1998 for fear of funnel web spiders. And box jellyfish. And and and...

Brisvegas, Australia(Zone 12b)

Jo. Did you ever watch Mork & Mindi ?

This guy Lived behind one of my paintings in the house .
They don`t build a Web . So are hard to find .
That is my house key in front of him .
We needed a Wheel Barrow to take him away .
They don`t have a natural enemy so they live a long and HAPPY life .
They have 8 Eyes , So it`s hard to sneak up on them .
They have been known to scare Garden Nomes to death .

You are an aracna geek aren`t you?

Brisvegas, Australia(Zone 12b)

hell , I try.
On 10 Acres of land there are a lot of Bugs and things .

Rosamond, CA(Zone 8b)

I only have gophers and rabbits not much bug troubles. Occasionally I`ll get aphids. We have a lot of arsnic in the soil, I`ve been told. Gophers sure love arsnic. I spent the afternoon, taking rebar and poking it real deep looking for soft spots and then I poisoned them and pushed it in with the rebar so now I have blisters all over my hands. I tried shoving dog doo down some big deep holes too to see if that would scare them off.

freaky

Rosamond, CA(Zone 8b)
