I think any of those would be fine Quyen. They're all great!
SO CAL May 19th RU Food Thread
still pondering here. . .
Okay, put me down for a cold soup. Haven't made up my mind on which kind yet. Could be Gazpacho, Cucumber, or Thai Curry.
Put me down for an appetizer . . . . Hot Mexican Dip
arlene
MMMMMMM! Gazpacho, does that help?!?!?!?? LOL
Thanks Arlene, done!
Do I see guacamole? No I don't see guacamole. I am bringing guacamole to go with the chips and things.
Thanks George, you're added to the list.
Have I missed anyone? Take a look and let me know. Rusty, I wasn't too clear on what you're bringing.
plates, silverwares, and cups...
I try bring Santa Fe Soup. (buffalo meat, refried beans, sour creams, cheeses and if in season avocados.)
Got it now Rusty! Thank you.
Don't seem quite right someone coming from Missouri should be talking like they are supplying ALL the plates, silverwares, and cups... as well as soup!
You should leave most of that (not the soup) for us'ns with access to Smart-n-Final and CostCo, locally!
Put Blooms down for one LARGE package of each of the above. I will make enough tabouli for 12-to-20 at least (and some for Mike to take home!)... that's a little Mediterranean Mexican dish that is my specialty!
Heh, if I get it planted, maybe I can use my own parsley, you think? Well, maybe some little teeny plants, Google says 75 to 83 days to harvest.
We will also bring a couple six-packs of micro-brewery beers.
~'spin!~
OK...I will bring my FAMOUS Sopapilla Cheesecake.....with Pineapple.
I haven't talked to Ezlivin yet....but she usually brings beer. Don't quote me on that though.
Hellnzn11....I am an old LADY....well....I'm not ALWAYS a lady....but I'm always OLD!!!. LOL Jo
Rusty, you've been saved! You won't be transporting utensils and cups any longer.
Check to see that I've got everyone down for what they said they'd bring.
I really like the micro-brewery beers that might be coming. Hey, Don, can I spend the night in one of the barns?!?!?!?
Well you know I'm going to bring beer! I will just have to keep with the theme and drag along a cooler of mexican flavored beverages. I will also try my hand at some cooking this year...I hope you all are brave! I'm not sure what it will be yet...as soon as I find a dish that calls to me I'll let you know.
Have I missed anyone? We have lots of names, are they all mentioned above? Bumping this thread so as it doesn't get lost...as lost as my brain!
I am not going to eat for 3 days before! So much good food!
I'm right behind you Arlene! There's going to be some excellent cuisine!

Thanks so much Arlene!
Pansit noodles. My wife will make them.
Thanks,
Chuck
Gotcha down Chuck and wife! Thanks for bumping this up!
Hmmm. . . . what are Pansit noodles?
It's yummy food - that's all I need to know. :-)
Pansit noodle is Asian noodle and it very good with pork or shrimp. Peoples eat pansit noodles from Philippine or Mexico and some other countries. Like Top Ramen noodles...
Actually the pansit noodles that we make have chicken as we are Seventh-Day Adventist and can't eat pork or shrimp. I hope you like them anyway. They have vegetables and the noodles are called bihon noodles.
Thanks,
Chuck
I am looking forward to the noodles! What a treat!
Periodically check the first post on this thread as to updates to the food list. Let me know if I have all down and correct.
DrDon:
I just don't know if you accept one of camping burner stove for Santa Fe Soup which I bring dutch oven to cook warm.

Sighing with you Rusty!
