Thanks TexasGardenMom! I'm really excited about this, as I have an entirely blank slate to work with in my new home (except for a couple of shrubs at the right front of the house), and I'm eager to plant new and unusual things.
I'm already busy designing my seed packets, too. This is FUN!
I love to hear from other people like you, scrap_n_tell who are equally as excited about gardening as I. I love to work from blank slates, as my imagination literally runs wild thinking about it! :-) Congrats on your new home and hopefully this seed swap will help you fill up some really nice gardens in your landscape. I too have been working on my seed packets, I find the pastel colors of Spring/Easter a delight to work with. Such fun, I didn't want to stop long enough to fix DH's dinner! LOL :)

Nancy, I've received your decorated seed packets before and you aren't giving yourself enough credit.......come on now, we each have our own individual little "niches" and I love the variations of ideas. :) I guess in an ideal world, I too would like to be a bit more artistic, I've seen some of you ladies that are avid scrapbookers and WOW, I was impressed! However, we all need to celebrate what we DO have to share and be thankful that we have the time and materials to do so. :-)

Well dh and I just got back from Toledo, I stopped by the Dollar General they have there along with Target.. I got the cutest little gift at the DG and the cutest cards from Target. Now I just need to find the right stickers and I will be all set...

Connie, so sorry for the delay in response! I too was out shopping for my Easter goodies and found SO many neat little things to chose from! Sounds like you raked in, too! Don't you love it when things come together so easily? :-) Easter is April 8th, this year and I must say that you CRACKED me up with your grandaughter remark! LOLOLOLOL Kids have a way of causing you to have major brain farts, for sure!

Belinda, she is going to be 16 on the 8th of March and some of the things that comes out of her mouth just crack me up... But then there are other things best left unsaid lol...
She is the only grandaughter and 3 grandsons... she is the oldest, and spoiled rotten... I just can't believe how fast they all have grown. Just doesn't seem like they should be as big as they are...
I still need to get some stickers so I can finish my Easter project :o) Then will get them out to you asap...

i will send them out tomarrow to ya. don't laugh when ya get them, the kid's helped me do them and it was hard to find stickers and such so we did the best we could with what we could find. i had no idea how to decorate them so there is a little of this and that as we all thought of ideas so bare with mine and the kid's amature decorating, rotfl. we had lots of fun doing them so i hope everyone will like them.
