Oh yeah, forgot to mention, went shopping with dh in Toledo, just got back about 30 minutes. Went to Value City and he found himself 3 shirts for 4.00 bucks each. I found a couple of spatulas I have been looking for. Now I can trhow the old ones out in my wagon :o) to use outside...
Then went to Home Depot where I found 23 pots for 1.06 ea :o) gonna start some day lily seeds in some of them. Then went to the Dollar General and found a gift for the Easter Swap. And then on to Target, Where I got a great deal on a BIG Basket, the handles were off of it, but down inside, it was regular 40.00 got it for 7.00... Its really nice... Gonna sit it on my deck when the weather warms up with a plant in it..

Oh did I mention HUBBY took me out to LUNCH *grinning real big here* He took me to the Golden Coral, so I won't have to cook later lol Thats the best part of my day :o) Now I can play in some dirt...

I went out and put some more leaves down for another bed today, the neighbor got rid of some carpet so I snitched it when he left hehehe I put the carpet on top of the leaves after I put coffee grounds over the leaves, this is going to be my red, white and blue garden, my neighbor came back and I helped him bring some boards out of the house he's working on and got a few boards too ;-) those are for my lean to greenhouse sometime this spring I hope......turned my compost pile and added to it, it's been great today! I'm taking advantage of it while I can! lol

Been really busy...hardly have time to read the posts let alone reply, but I do try to read them every day. I'm mostly a lurker I guess.
I did manage to sow seeds into 9 flats the past couple of days. They're in my hoop house. Also, got a bunch of milk containers done. These are outside my hoop house.
I still need to prepare my St. Patrick's Day Swap packets and hoping to do that this weekend so I can get them in the mail on Monday.
I've also been wanting to get my swap list done for the extras. So much to do and not enough time! Sigh.

I got bogged down there in the middle, but once this is done, I'll be getting it inthe MAIL! Please, PLEASE don't tell me I have to decorate the extra packs -- I am not that fast (not that they are intricate, cause they're not, but all these things you all whip out seem to take me hours and hours.

Susan your gonna love this, Now that my daughter has a roof over her head, she retrieved her 5 cats from her friend. THey are hugh and I hope the female ones are fixed lol She is tickled pink to have her whole family all back together again. Next time I go over there will take my camera and try and I do mean try to get a picture of her cats to show you. She has a solid black one, I would love to have, He is big and a beaut. But alais I am allergic to them... :(
I just bought a few things today for the Easter Swap... I hope who ever gets my gift will like it...

Oh, Diana that Blue Silk is just beautiful, I had the chocolate and none came back for me and they were big too, just loved them so I know I will like that one, you can split with Connie I'll just use a couple that will be fine, if I just get one I'll be happy ;-) We had so much cold, wet weather in the fall I didn't get any seeds from any of mine last year! Do they reseed for you? I think the chocolate silk is the only one I ever had that didn't reseed last year.

heheh well LeBug...sometimes it is a problem.. I have planted..Sweet woodfruff...it is really a nice ground cover for shade ...Which I have plenty...wowow...and I have to keep pulling it...many times a growing season.. So...some would think this is a problem...I still love it...so cute a widdle...ground cover..lol...tiny white flowers...in the spring..Evasive.....yes...but one needs to control..it...lol...My DH...does not like MG's for this reason...it can be transported..even by birds...or what ever..hehehe ...MG...seem to come up ..everywhere..lol...but I love them...

Well, LeBug, Connie, and Illoquin----you each have 6 seeds..not so many..but I only had 3..last year..but wow..that is it..hahaha...It is a very nice MG..I love the leaves even..big..and variegated.. I planted it a little later in the spring..this year.I am.going to bring the pot down...close to the house..and plant earlier...good luck with this one...

Diana, 6 seeds are great, that's about all of the room I have to start them downstairs, I have all of these great seeds this year and don't know if I'm going to have all the space to start them in the house or not, I've gotten more great seeds this year than any year I have been planting so far, if I can get just one plant of each I'll be happy! I am so excited for this spring I can't wait to see all of these blooms!

I am behind on a few things so got to get them done after dinner which is in the makings :o)
For some reason or other, I have lost a day, all day long I thought it was Friday and still had another day to get my lesson done (wrapped up) for Sunday school. Imagine my shock when I was told tomorrow is Sunday rofl... Oh well life can only get better RIGHT hahaha...

Connie, if my ink doesn't arrive in the mail today, I'm probably going to be a couple of days late getting mine in the mail. I don't have a car here during the week. A friend and I go together to get groceries usually on Mondays. If I don't have everything ready to go on Monday, I can't get to the post office again until Saturday, if I have the car on Saturday.
And they're calling for another ice storm this weekend which means I won't be going anywhere until the driveway is passable.
