I really tried so very hard to be nice and not so greedy but gosh their all so pretty, it's really hard. I will let someone else have the Magnolia tree, but Lebug I'm gonna leave it entirely up to you on which ones you want me to have. They are all gorgeous!

How much longer will the "extra's list" be running ? I will try to share some of my extras with everyone if I still have time to do so.

Just wanted to share a bit of my happiness with everyone.... I have just been hired part time at my local Lowe's Store working in the gardening dept. My job I guess you would say is as....a glorified water girl. I haven't actually started working yet but have no doubt I will love it. How could I not... surrounded by all those beautiful flowers and plants.
The best part for me is that I will get to see what sells well and what just sits there taking up space, so hopefully this will be as much a educating experience... if nothing else......as I am in the planning stages of opening my own little backyard garden business.
Wish me luck and pray I don't kill all the plants!!!!!!

Congratulations, Jane, on both new ventures. So many times big box stores put people in the garden centers who really don't want to be there. I enjoy shopping in centers where the staff truely are gardeners themselves. You'll have fun. Keep us posted!

Unless of course..... I won the lottery and could buy at least 3 of every flower known to man. lol ((NO fear of that....happening, I'm sure))
Another plus with this job for me is.....during the off season or winter months, I have the choice of either going inside and they will find me something to do inside or........take a leave of absence during their off season or fall-winter months and not have to return until spring ! That's my preferred choice!

That picture above was taken b4 I used messenger
on them. They have really taken off in just the 2 days
since using it... one is about 4"s tall and the others
aren't to far behind it . :o) And my House plants really
perked right up too..

Last night there was a bad wreck or something on telegragh road, Lots of cop cars and ambulances.
Right at the slpit going to toledo... Diana just past LeRoys... Right around 11:30pm last night...
Had to call my dd to make sure she and the kids were home, they were :o)
My daughter finally found a place to rent and now her and the kids are all back together.
Thank the Lord for answering prayers... (Long story short) for the past several months they
have been scattered and homeless. refused to stay with me and dh... But now they are back
together and not far from me :o)

Connie, can you use messenger on the seedlings? I ordered some and have never used it, I need to order seedling food and wondered if I could use this?

Lea, Dori told me (she sent me a 1 gal pk to try) since the day lilies were sprouting I could use it on them and my house plants. and man what a difference it made on them :o)
I ordered some from the coop, can't wait to get it... Also ordered the Mighty Plant too.

Wonder when they are going to send them out, I ordered the seed starter too, I'm excited!

Me too, Lea & Connie. I've never tried it before either. I'm excited about the possibilies of having strong healthy plants from all these seedlings that are popping up. Heard a lot of good things about messenger and mighty plant.

Me too Deb, wish I would have ordered more of the messenger, only got 10 of each. But I talked with mgh and she may do another one when the Messenger gold comes out... So will have to keep my eyes open for her when she posts it...

I also go a trial pack of the messenger stuff... my brain is not working to good yet from the operation and really mean it that crap they put me to sleep with make me more brain dead .... So I really had not time to read up about this stuff, so in the short it helps plants to be healthy? all plants? do you think I could use on my plumerias( somebody stop me please with these) or rooted things that maybe just dont look to swift? Thanks for any info...

Well I got two more containers done today. Don't know if I am done or not...
Still have some more seeds to go thru. You know it doesn't take long at all to gather lots and lots of seeds. I can't believe the collection I have. I just hope they all do good. I am really getting antsy now to get out side and start preparing the beds lol Going to go thru my garden books after American Idol goes off tonight and start figuring out where they're all gonna go lol.

I have to buy some garden pots for some of the annuals I have...

I got up way early today cause I went to bed really early last night, I am going to be starting some more DayLily seeds a friend sent me :o) DH and I are going to go to Toledo today, I am going to see if I can find some flower pots for the Caladiums I ordered so I can have them on hand when they arrive :o)

DH wants to look for clothes lol... Winter Close Out Sales... Thats a FIRST!!! A friend of his told him about a place in Toledo that had there winter clothes marked down and was already putting there summer items out, geesh... So he wants to go check it out...
