Well either way works for me. I have 14 roses who would love to have some coffee grounds. Thanks Kim.
Texas Statewide Roundup April 28, 2007-TRADES
I've got a baggie set up to collect the grounds this morning. I will just toss them into a ziploc, dry them, and freeze them here until the roundup.
:) Kim
:)), Mary Lee
Kim, 1 agave with your name on it. Remember that it will get @ 4 foot diameter.
Kip
Hey Kipper,
Your overdue for a visit! Where've u been? come by...
Rj
Randy, you got'um Dmail
I made some edits to my list....just bumping this up!
:) Kim
Hey guys, I am lost again! What is this about renting a pavillion?
Hey Kip!
Sylvia....the pavilion is already reserved, I did this last month. It is the same one we used previously.
:) Kim
Gee Kim, It sound like everyone was getting separate pavillions.I panic when I started to read this thread. I will never have enough plants to fill up a pavillion! LOL
Lol!! I'm surprised more people aren't talking on here lately....c'mon y'all the roundup is only 7 weeks away! Can you tell I'm excited?
Also wanted to put on here that since my parents are moving to Texas in May/June....I would love to get some things for mom to put in a garden there. I know she loves roses and hummingbirds. Also dad likes those hibiscus with the big flowers, I've got a red one I am growing from seed to give them. Anything would work.
Thanks! Kim
Would they like some irises?
I bet she would love some irises!
:) Kim
KIM would she like a Lady Banks rosebush?
Sylvia....that would be very nice. She said the place they are interested in has a rosebush in it, but not much else has been done with the landscape. I bet that would be perfect!
Mary Lee and Sylvia....let me know if you want anything from me for those. I still need to update the list.
:) Thanks, Kim
kim where are your parents moving from?
They are moving from a little town called Carrollton in northeast Ohio. So it will be a big change for them. They are excited about it though.
:) Kim
I'll put them down for irises, Kim.
all the way from Ohio? Wow I bet they grow Hostas. if they do tell them to bring them. Hostas are hardy plants
Patrob, would you please save a White Beebrush for me? I think I know where to put one!
Linda, I have your name on a white beebrush, and there are more if anyone else wants one.
Pat, could I please have two of the Beebrush for the butterfly garden at the Fielder Museum?
I will see what I can gather up for you.
Josephine.
Certainly, Josephine. It's actually raining right now, and the digging will be very good for a few days. I should be able to get some nice ones with lots of roots. Those will be lucky little bushes going from the pasture to the butterfly garden at the museum!
Thank you Pat, I have been trying to find them at the nurseries here, but no luck at all. I had been thinking about propagating the one you gave me last year, which by the way is doing very well, but it would be a few months before a cutting becomes a good size bush, and we would like to get the beds finished fairly soon.
Many people will come and admire your shrubs there, I'll be sure to mention that you donated them.
Josephine, never hesitate to ask for any plant you think I might have. The beebrush grows wild in the pasture! I'll post a photo of the agaritas in full bloom in a day or so. The rain should really open the flowers up.
I updated my list again...should be complete this time.
Patrob....I was wondering if I could get any of the following?
apple mint
chocolate mint
liatris
shasta daisy
ceejaytown....could I have a salvia purple knockout?
Thanks! Kim
Kim, I'll put you on my list for apple and chocolate mints, liatris, and shasta daisies. Do you have salvia farinacea (mealy cup sage)? It is a true blue. I have lots and will be adding other blue salvias to my list as they come out from their winter naps and I can take cuttings to root.
From your list I'd love to have a
Sunrise Serenade morning glory
Hibiscus confederate rose
White Texas star hibiscus
Red Texas star hibiscus
hardy red hibiscus
Thanks,
Patricia
Thanks so much Patricia! That mealy cup sage sounds great....please put me down for one of those as well. I will put your name on the ones you listed.
:) Kim
Patricia and/or CJ, may I have a salvia, too?
~ Marylyn
I dug up a bunch of Mother of thyme yesterday. Let me know if anybody wants some. Patrob I'd may need some mealy cup sage too. I think you gave me some last year, but I don't know if it survived my greenhouse neglect.:) Things are beginning to wake up out there, so I do need to go look. BTW the Ice Follies are not blooming. One bloomed, but the rest didn't. Have yours bloomed?
Mary Lee....I'll take some mother of thyme.
:) Kim
Got it Kim.
Kim, do you still have cherry brandy gaura? If you do, I'd like some please.:)
And do you also still have the Baja daylily? I'm trying to get more red in my garden. Thanks.

I'll put you down for both!
:) Kim
Marylyn and Mary Lee, I have you both down for salivia farinacea (mealy cup sage).
Mary Lee, my 'Ice Follies' have bloomed and were early this year. Maybe yours will still bloom. Do they receive sunlight? If they don't bloom, they are storing energy for next year. Would you please bring me another start of your Mother of Thyme. I lost the one you gave me last spring.
Marylyn & Kim - have you both down for Salvia 'Purple Knockout'
Thanks Patrob and CJ. Patrob I guess I'll just have tons of flowers next year.:)
Thank you, Patricia and CJ! :-)
MaryLee, I may have some red daylilies you can have, too, if you don't mind not knowing what their names are. I just have to figure out which ones the red ones are... I separated and moved them all this fall and they are all mixed up now. (Or at least I am all mixed up...)
Marylyn, no name DL are very welcome in my yard.:) I'm mixed up too. I joined 3 coops and I'm having a very hard time keeping them straight.
OK, I have posted my list, such as it is so far. Of course subject to change, LOL
Patrob, could I possibly get a beebush and liatris?
Kipper, I would love some native white passion flower.
Blue_Eyes, I would also love an epi cutting.
Smockette, thank you for remembering me!!!!
