Trishann
Cool, Thank you Trishann, did I get the rest of the trade correct?
Yes, you sure did.. See you Saturday...
Silver - That was it - the Brewery, and yes, the bratwurst was yummy!! We tried that five sampler thingy too. LOL! I wouldn't know who to call...are you listed under Silverfluter? LOL!
Hard to kill that taro here. Real hard. Maybe impossible. It probably doesn't like to dry out a whole lot, but even then, it just wilts. I hate to say this, but we have to keep it in bounds, by digging up the roots. It is quite assertive. I love it, but that's the truth!
If I am bringing plants for you, please check my list to make sure I have not omitted anything! Everybody have a safe trip, and I'll see you in the morning! http://davesgarden.com/forums/p.php?pid=3131182
Sylvia....I would love some cuttings of your orange and deep red roses.
:) Kim

I will not take orders but just know, I am bringing them as I promised Kay.
Anyone receiving them MUST dmail her later & thank her!!!
do you think yours is the ackermanii? and not the johnsonii? look up the latter one and see what you think.
You all sound like you are going to have a wonderful time tomorrow. I had planned to come and visit and see what it is like and how much fun there is to be had. But, my elderly father in love has been taken to the hospital and our six year old has a birthday party in Arlington. What a bummer but life goes on and there is always next year. Don't forget the sunscreen and have a wonderful time.
Kim
how do i make assinine comments like that one above? i thought i was talking privately to someone about a bulb that they had and now i find this comment here. i wondered why she never answered me. lol. was daves site weird for anyone today besides me?
HEY...............DAVE!!!! was the site weird today?
well i can't make it to the round-up but never fear dawn and sylvia are comin' loaded. i have all of your plants labelled with names of plants and names of people they are promised to. thank you to everyone for all of the nice plants you are sending to me. sure wish i could see some of you again and meet some others.
and by the way..........i have given dawn and sylvia explicit instructions that if dave shows up with coffee cups or a new daves garden t-shirt that they are to manhandle, bowl over or in general do what ever it takes to get me a new DAVES thing. i think dawn may be totin'.........something. she WAS questioned by the sheriff in collin county a week or so back. that's all i'm gonna say. but if you talk to her just act like you don't know. and whatever you do don't say i said anything. just let her get the new daves thing and that will be that.
Did anyone find a kodak digital camera? I lost mine today.....
Trishann, I don't remember who it was, but someone did find it. They were asking around among those of us still there, so they will probably post this evening.
I think Amy (blue eyes) or Smockette have it.
It was a great time.I had to scoot out a little early to go work in my Mother-in-law's garden before Mother's Day.(We're out of town next weekend and I have to work tomorrow).I planted several things there that were traded for my puny little plants(hope they do well for everyone). I was given several things that I was assured no one could kill.fingers crossed, hope it's true.It looked good after I got everything mulched and warned her not to water again for a while since her clay soil felt like mush.I'm still full from all the great food. We have some wonderful cooks as well as wonderful gardeners. Thanks Kim for organizing a great Roundup..nancy
I have posted these same picture on the Round Up Picture forum.
Got a question about the food. (wrong forum?...na)
Who brought the stuffed / baked jalapeņos ????? I WANT THE RECIPE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
4 were just not enough

Trishann.....Smockette has your camera.
Also, she has a glass pie plate that somone left behind. And I have a key that was found if anyone is missing one. It could've been left there before us.
Thanks to everyone for such a great turnout and a wonderful roundup! My parents had a lot of fun meeting everyone and wanted me to say thanks to everyone who gave them plants for their new place. I have pics but I will upload them tomorrow.
