Texas Statewide Roundup April 28, 2007-TRADES

Anybody want to mess with baby snapdragons? They will do fine if someone picks each plant out and repots in a six pack or something similar for a couple of weeks. I have taken enough to fill four 72 cell trays. There are hundreds of plants left each of the 3 trays I have available. These are mixed colors and the seeds came from trades.

I forgot about taking food! Is there a list being made? How many people are coming? (DH & I are....)

Thanks, both of you! I'm thinking that maybe DH & I and Sandy (ilovejesus99) might stay for dinner....But I have to ask them first.

Perhaps I should do a head count? I didn't think we needed one since we already had the pavilion, but I can set one up.

Sandy I found the Candy Stripe Canna wrapped up with the marker and dry as bone. Can I bring you another kind? I have so many Cannas I will bring you a variety. ok?

patrob.......i will take those snapdragons if noone else has, white beebrush, liatris what kind was that? AND IF YOU GROW TB IRIS LET'S SWAP LISTS AFTER THIS PLANT SWAP. I HAVE MANY TO TRADE.

blue eyes.........japanese wisteria if rooted.........i would like 2-3 to make a standard. you are out of yellow m.g., right? lol

kipper...........blue agave, is the pink trumpet vine podreana or however that is spelled? and which is the native white passion vine.....caerula?

ceejay..........i feel like a pig but cardamon ginger, gaura the bride, plumbago, spirea lime mound, formosa lily, dietes iris

Hey, Sandy. Do you want to join some of the group after the RU for dinner in College Station? It would mean driving home in the dark, and I think - looking at your list and my list - that we are going to have to take separate vehicles. It's about an hour and a half (can't remember exactly) drive from here. If we can get everything in our SUV though, we will.

Gotcha covered mamajack, except for the spiraea. I'll check to see if I can find another seedling and bring it if there is one.

CJ, we can make a caravan coming back to the Woodlands. We will let you & DH lead, put Sandi in the middle, & I'll bring up the rear! If ya'll bring one vehicle, you can put Sandi in the back seat. That way she is still in the middle & we can't loose her. :~)

I have never stopped to thank you for coming to Dennis' funeral. You will never know what that meant to me. You are a doll. I don't remember alot of who was there but I do remember you. It really touched my heart.

Sandi, I was able to come & just felt that I had to. After last spring, I felt like you & Dennis were family, like I had known both of you all my life.

It was doing good and I kept forgetting it at my DS's apt and he said it died. It must have froze that last freeze. I was so disappointed.

If any one has any cactus, I am trying to finish Dennis' cactus garden. I wish he was here to see how it is looking.

Thank you Smockette, feelings about you being family is mutual. Sure I would love to answer any questions about the music. And no there was no one there deaf. It was the power she puts into it that makes it awesome. It really worships God when she signs to it.

About Dennis's garden, Sassy, my SIL, just lost her father & had to take him back to Indiana so she doesn't have trades together this spring but she will be bringing a flat or two of cacti. You must get with her. I will tell her.

Mamajack, I will bring you a tray of snapdragons, white beebrush, and liatris mucronata. I would love to have some of your toad lily babies, cannas 'Tropicana', 'Tropicana Gold,' and 'Australia' if you have extras.

I would love to trade named irises and daylilies with you when we both have time. Right now I will be lucky to get everything I have promised ready for Saturday!

Mamajack, the juniper thyme is all taken, but I have Mother of thyme. Was there something else you wanted?

I remember a discussion about rose cuttings. I can bring some of those too. I have Mdm Alfred, Cl Cecile Brunner, Zepherine, Joan of Arc, Buff Beauty, Don Juan, shrub Cecile Brunner, Erfurt, New Dawn, Red Cascade and Marie Pavie.

patrob..........i only have one australia. if i have enough tropicanna i will surely bring you one. i have had 3 trades with that one recently. and i am going to check t. gold today. please tell me something else as i am getting so much from you. thank you. and i am in no rush to trade iris but after all of this is over let's do exchange lists. i will bring you a pot of toad babies.......all started from trade seeds.
