SILVER FLUTER.......we are not supposed to be able to get iris borers here. but check to see if roly polys are eating your iris. forget what they say that roly polys only eat rotting things. roly polys eat iris in texas that are healthy. a lady in georgia had the same problem last year when it was so hot.

DD has a rabbit, would be happy for some Timothy hay! I don't use the ceder shavings, but they are always good for the compost pile. :)

Mamajack, I got the Amorpha from the wildscape greenhouse where I volunteer.
I have two small ones now in my yard and I will be propagating them later on, when they get bigger. I will keep you in mind.

well frostweed i may have to go ahead and try to find that plant on my own. i really liked it. but do keep me in mind when you get a baby just in case i am unlucky trying to find it.
Dawnin, do you want more shavings/saw dust? We have a wood shop and I can bring you as much saw dust as your little heart desires.:) We don't have any cedar right now for rabbits because we are not using cedar. Right now we have mostly mesquite and pine and oak.
Somebody gave me some Black princess taro last year and I was wondering if I could get some more. I had 3 and 2 died. So I have this 1 lonely princess in a pot all by herself and she's very lonely.:( I think it was DMJ or CJ.

silverfluter, any other time I would happily take your wood shavings. But as we are three already, I feel obligated to save room for everyone's plants, lol. Although, you should have seen how packed full the back of my vehicle was after mamajack and I did some plant 'rescuing,' Then she was generous and shared some plants from her garden with me. When I got home DH just said "OMG, what have you done?"

Dawnin' it sounds like you had fun diggin up plants. I think my DH has figured out that it's a good thing when I come home with plants, (especially if they're free) because I'm in a really good mood and I stay busy in the yard and don't pester him about working on the house.

Cj, I think I put a jinx on some things. Is it supposed to grow really fast? Maybe I didn't use the right dirt? Should I take it out and add a bunch of compost and coffee grounds? You probably went to the Brewery. It is one of the best places to eat in town, and my favorite place to drink beer. It tastes like the beer we drank in Germany. MMMMMM. Next time you're in town look us up. We love excuses to go to the Brewery.:)

I don't know how to send, however if you'll go to the plant files and look for Butterfly Pea, Blue Pea Vine or clitoria ternatea, you can see them. What I have is a mixture of 4 colors: blue, pink, violet, and a white double. I've no idea which is which. I also have a lavender moon vine if you'd be interested.
