thanks, Marylyn. I've been looking for cinnamon fern for a couple of years.
Texas Statewide Roundup April 28, 2007-TRADES
Marilyn I dont remember us having a Fern Coop :(... what did I miss?
I don't think it was open for very long. I hope there is another one. Did it go well Marylyn?
Marylee you knew about it too? whenever I go through the coop threads, its closed!
I didn't see it til after it closed though.:( Very big bummer. I am really hoping they do another one.
Purple Fall Aster, Symphyotrycum oblongifolius.
Thanks Josephine!
You are welcome Sylvia, it will be nice to see you at the Swap.
Many, many years ago, my mother planted 2 antique rose bushes. I believe that they're name 7 Sisters. I don't really like them. One has put up 2 suckers (correct name?), would anyone like them? I've been trying for years to kill this rose bush, lol and it goes and has babies. Wish I had that kind of luck with hollyhocks.
Smock is bringing some Lemon Sorbet shrimp plants.
Sassy is bringing a flat of various cactus or should that be cacti. lol
Does anybody want some juniper thyme? I'll be digging some up to plant asiatic lilies tomorrow I hope.
Did it go well Marylyn?
Mary Lee, do you mean the coop? It has gone well enough, but poor summerkid did 3 coops at the same time, so it is taking her awhile to get things packed and sent. My name isn't on the your-box-is-going-out-asap list, so I suspect it won't be here in time. Sorry I got your hopes up. :-) Maybe I can bring you some the next time we get together.
Mary Lee....I would take some juniper thyme.
:) Kim
Marylyn, why would anybody do that to themselves? Doing 3 coops at the same time. That's nuts. But don't worry, I'll get my ferns someday.:)
Kim, I'll put you down for juniper thyme.
Looking forward to seeing everyone!
Frostweed, the iris looks like Kirk Strawn. http://davesgarden.com/forums/t/631712/
It was named after my dad!
Bob
Ahh.. the cinnamon ferns are backordered and won't be in until May 1st, so she's waiting to ship my whole order until them. :-) That makes sense. Sylvia, you're hilarious. LOL
Bob, will your onions grow in partial shade?
Thanks Mary Lee!
Does anyone here have native milkweed for trade? I saw this when my parents and I went to southern TX over the weekend, and I just loved it. I can't believe how closely it resembles a hoya flower, and I think it is so neat how something native to here can be related to something native to a totally different tropical country.
:) Kim
AuntAnne.....I would love one of your seven sisters roses.
:) Kim
I am also looking for an esperanza if anyone has one to spare. I thought I was getting one this past weekend at another swap. but what I got isn't that.
I have updated my list....please check and make sure I didn't forget anyone!
:) Kim
Kim, is this the milkweed you are wanting? If so, I have it for you. http://asclepias.homestead.com/asperula.html
Yep....that's it! Thank you so much!
:) Kim
CJ, if you still have any, may I have some Spiraea x bumalda 'Lime Mound', Lilium formosanum/philippinense (Formosa or Philippine lily), and Pavonia lasiopetala (Texas Rock Rose)? I have a fence line that needs some bushy sorts of things. :-)
Dave, may I have some of the Pride of Barbados and some Salvia guaranitica?

Pat, if you have anymore Antelope Horns Milkweed to spare, I would also like some. Thanks!
I have all three of you down for antelope milkweed: Kim, Josephine, and Dollie.
Thanks Pat! Please look at my list on this thread and see if I have anything you want.
Thank you Pat, you are a doll.
Marylyn, I have several varieties that thrive in partial shade. Including a native wild onion. Kind of like a chive, but a bit more of a chew. I will select a range of them out for you to try if you want.
Bob
Bob, please see my post a few post up, can you tell me the name of the iris? Thank you.
Josephine.
Wow, this thread has been busy today! Wonder why. I figured out something today. Do you know how to tell when it's time to go to a RU? That's easy - just as soon as you finish planting all the plants you got at the last RU! I hope to get them all in the ground tomorrow finally.
I am bringing Mother of thyme and juniper thyme for Dollie.
That would be great, Bob. Thanks!! :-)
LOL, Mary Lee!
Thanks, Dollie, but I will have plenty with all that you are already bringing me!
Mary Lee, I do not have everything from the last RU in the ground yet. And there may still be pots in the greenhouse from the one before that. I hope there's not a rule against bringing home more. If there is, I am going to be in big trouble!
Well, somebody may have that rule, but it wouldn't come from me.:) I have been working really hard to get everything in the ground because I know I'm gonna come home with a lot of stuff.
Josephine...I think he IDed the iris on post 3421970.
Thanks cannagirl for the semps!
:) Kim
Cannagirl, I would gratefully appreciate a Purple obedient plant. Since the last freeze we had down here and since I do not have any northwest wind and air blockage, I lost most all. A few of my babies are just now starting to leaf out now.
As I posted way before, the only thing that I can and will be brining will be many of the native white passion vine ( the only thing that didn't mind the 4 hours of 27 degrees).
I tried transpotting 4 of my "Flame Plants" but they didn't like the move and gave up.
See all there.
Kip
Thank you Bob, I am honored to have your the Iris named after your father.
Josephine.
Smockette.....not to sound greedy....lol...but I'd love to try your roses and red spider lily if possible.
:) Kim
Kim, do you still have a yellow MG available?
I decided to go ahead an rent a room for Sat night and I am wondering if anybody else is planning on staying Sat night. And if anybody would be interested in going out to eat after the RU? We did last year and had a blast. If nobody wants to do this, then I think I'll try to change my reservation to Fri night so we can eat at the Golden Corral for breakfast. Are we planning on doing that again?
BTW I am adding Snow Queen Hibiscus cuttings to my list.
Mary Lee, I would like to try some of your Snow Queen cuttings, please.
