Staghorn... Elkhorn... they're both Platycerium. Common names, they'll get ya every time.

Stag at the bottom Elk on top .
Other thing is a crows nest

Staghorn = Platycerium bifurcatum
Elkhorn = Platycerium bifurcatum

In the US, at least around me, they seem to refer to Platycerium bifurcatum as either a Staghorn or an Elkhorn Fern.

By the way, I enlarged your photo! Yowser! Didn't see that in there until you told us to enlarge the photo.

Looks to me as if you have an Asplenium australasicum (We call that a Bird's Nest Fern over here), Platycerium bifurcatum or maybe P. wallichii, and a P. sumbawense or maybe a P. ridleyi? How close am I? Did I at least get the genus correct to what you have?

They are Canna seed Pods . lol

As yall would know .
Tropicanna seeds pods are sterile .
Hence no good seed .

I didn't even know about the hybrid. Since I lost all of my common Canna rhizomes about a year ago I may replace them with these.

These are 5 week old Tropicanna .
This is the plant the seed pods came from .

The leaves are sure a LOT better looking than the green ones that I used to have, but it looks like they only grow to about half the size of the plants that I had. A full spring to fall bloom is another bonus. I'll still have to dig them up after our first couple of frosts and bring them inside for our winters.

A Thought for the day:
