Harper, That is one beautiful boy!
Ginger, In the U.S. teens dote on their parents' every word, thankful for the wisdom they gain from all of our stories and sermons.
Oh, and are you interested in buying a bridge?
Do you have a favorite quote or saying?
Ginger, That is beatiful! Every time I see your pond it gets me!
Thanks Gram, Pirl and Dave. He's not interested in girls... well, he says he's not. There's actually one girl he's loved since kindergarten that we rarely ever see. Here's a pic of him in 2nd grade working on a valentine for her. If any girls do start messing with my boy, they'll have a big fight with your's truly. He's mine!
Harper
LOL, Sofonisba ! I know exactly where you're coming from.
Got a 12-year old grandson who promised me when he was only 6
that the only girl he was ever gonna kiss when he grew up
(besides Mommy) was Grandma. En garde, you hussies !!!!
I'm not budging an inch, LOL.
Pixie, SHE is definitely not good enough for that
very handsome boy ! Dump her, LOL.
Harper, that's so sweet. My little granddaughter, now almost 13, has had a friend (boy) since kindergarten. At times he has been her 'best' friend, at times her sweetheart, now they are just friends.
You girls keep those boys close...it's hard to give them up (I know)
Mahnot,
Her name is Mallory and against my better judgement....she's grown on me! I have learned to love her and she makes him very happy most of the time! LOL
Pixie, her name could be Cinderella, she still could never
be good enough, LOL. That's my story, and I'm stickin' to it !
When my grandson first found out how and where babies came from,
he was shocked. When he came to my house for his regular Friday
night sleepover, he told me all about it, then turned to me and PROMISED
that if he ever did get married, he was never going to take his pants off, LOL.
OMG......too funny!! You may have to remind him of that conversation when he hits 17-18.
We've got him locked in the basement until he's 30, LOL.
Good thinking!!
Why didn't I think of that 'locked in the basement' thing LOL oh well...too late. and I'd have missed out on my 2 gorgeous granddaughters who are practically my 'reason for being' now. they're great kids! and beautiful! and the 17 yo is grounded because they found out she was at a boy's house watching movies and his parents weren't home. hhhmmmm...lock her in the basement??? the circle of life LOL
Lock her in the basement and put paddlocks on her clothing, or you'll be a Great Gram before you know it!!
I read that when the knight's went away on their crusades,
their ladies made very good friends with the locksmiths and had
an extra key made for their chastity belt. Beware of locksmiths, LOL.
I was joking about locking anyone up but then i was pointed in this direction to read this story. I'm not laughing any more!!!

I simply can't imagine how the parents could look at themselves in the mirror each day, knowing what they were doing to the poor child. There's no punishment harsh enough to give those parents.
I agree pirl, nothing they can do to them that will compensate for what they did to that little girl! Lock them up!!!!
It's not safe to make a joke about anything these days,
I guess, because there are all sorts of peculiar folks out there
and nobody will give you a program when you're born, telling you
who's up to what. Scary. How can people treat their children
this way? The older I get, the more the world puzzles me.
What the heck happened to human kindness??? Has it too become extinct????
It's only 2 years, our news said 4. I guess that's better-not really.
Jeez, I felt bad when i sent my kids to their rooms for a FEW hours! I can't imagine how anyone could do that to another human being, never mind your own flesh and blood!
I just spent the last half hour reading that article. That's so horrible. We were just joking about locking our children up in the basement... I can't imagine anyone in their right minds could do such a thing. There they were blaming it on the psychiatrist. Crazy. I was glad to hear that the girl was intelligent - I hope she recovers and goes on to lead a happy life. As for the parents... Grrrrrrr!!
Pixie, about our boys, I have a little fantasy bubble going on here. I'd like it if you'd kindly not burst it. I know I'm just avoiding the inevitable, but he's just so sweet and cuddly now, I'm not ready to face reality! BTW, what a cutie yours is!
Manhot, I loved the story about your grandson and his pants. Too funny!!!!
