It's the tiny weeds - like the tiny leaved clover (with such deep roots) that I can't stand. I don't know the name of the ones that get to 3' tall and flower before I spot them but they almost make me laugh that there I am getting out the tiny ones and totally miss the ones most likely to hit me in the head.

I wonder, after I get them out, if Preen would even work since these things grow from the tiniest little tubers I ever have seen.

My weed fire eater should be here in 10 to 15 days but even that won't get the tiny growing babies under ground. I'm sure this is just the start of them for the daylily garden and many more will crop up come April. The woes of a gardener!
