wallaby1 is correct - you can go back and alter your votes up until voting closes. Just make sure to remember to submit the page!

So if you cancel out some votes but not all, the ones you don't cancel won't get counted twice? In other words, if you register your votes a second time in a category, the first registration is totally null?

Each time you vote in the same category, it over-writes all previous votes in that same category. In this way, you can go back and change your checkboxes.

Dave, I know we aren't suppose to talk politics, but as smooth as you are able to run the voting for this photo contest, I think I will suggest your name to a couple of election boards around the country as well as a bunch of foreign ones! Patti

I don't understand why this thread was bumped up, as it is 2 years old. Is there something I don't know about concerning the 2008 Photo contest.

I'm confused...it looks to me like it got bumped up because you made a post, nobody else has posted here since 2006. Unless someone else posted before you and then admins deleted it?

Well, I have no idea then! (by the way, the photo contests are always towards the end of the year, so it'll probably be the fall before we hear anything about the 2008 contest)

Maybe someone was disapponted that Dave didn't run for President in the 2008 elections (see above posts) and said some nasty things about the other candidates so the post was deleted ... but rutholive was notified of the update before it was deleted! :o)

But, I guess victorgardener is right. I like Dave too. I wouldn't want to put that burden on him; plus, he would tbe too busy to take care of here at Daves Garden and the websites.

I think (perhaps) Donna may have seen an old thread I posted on the Photo forum to alert people about the Phot comp, which had the link to this. Someone posted on it not long ago to ask what was happening, I think they were new and didn't realise this was an older thread.
