Since Alice's swap was limited to 20, there might have been people that missed out. Are there still some interested in a swap? I would gladly organize it.

Seed Swap #2
I am new but may be interested. What are the details?
Thanks!
A
Let's see how many takers we get, but I would do the same idea as Alice [Alice, I'm stealing your write-up], except let's make it 10 packets of seeds for those that don't have alot to share. We will set the cutoff to November 1st. ALL SEED ENTRIES MUST BE RECEIVED BY THIS DATE, PLEASE.
Use a bubble envelope or bubble wrap to send seeds to Anita [my address is in the exchange-Anitabryk2];
o Include 10 packets of seed;
o The amount of seed is whatever you feel comfortable with. If you are looking for guidelines, see the Seed Trading Primer in Extras;
o Can be all one seed type or different seed types;
o You can use anything for seed packs, but make sure they won't fall out and tape is not in a location where seeds could stick. The glycine envelopes work best for tiny seeds as opposed to plastic;
o Identify each seed pack with the contents and include your DG name (see Shirley's post on 9/15 at 4:22);
o Include 63 cents in postage not coin;
o Include a mailing label with your own address on it;
o Do not use scotch tape to seal a reused bubbleenvelope; and
o Write WS Swap on outside of the envelope sent to Anita.
o Include a list of the seeds enclosed - please. It will make it a bit easier to make sure that everyone gets something different than what they sent.

I would like to do this but need to check what seeds I have and what would be an appropriate amount to send in each packet. Thankyou, Andrea (another Andrea :) )
I'd like to join.
Deborah
That is so nice of you. I would have joined, but someone bowed out and allowed me to take their place in the other swap......enjoy!!
Where's Tabasco? I bet she would join in if she knew.
I'd be happy to join -- though I'm doing the other swap as well. Is that ok?
Try sending an e-mail to people who have posted on this forum to see if they would be interested in your seed swap. They might not have wandered over here yet....waiting for the Winter Soltice!
Hi Anita.
I have alot of odds and ends seeds still left and a bunch that I picked this season as well as some new ones coming in. I guess I am afraid that someone would be dissapointed with what I would send. I know I will be thrilled with whatever I get. I'm just new to all of this. I would like to participate. This will be my first and It seems like alot of fun. I have a question also. If I ordered for myself a packet of 25 seeds, and I split it (12 seeds) to use in this swap, is this acceptable? I don't know the rules of ethics when it comes to all this. Thankyou very much. Andrea
Happy - Welcome aboard!
Andrea - you are more than welcomed. I don't think anyone would have a problem with the seeds that they get. They all understand that no one could possible know what seeds they need or already have. I think that is half the fun of a swap!. I am sure that a packet split is fine. If anyone else feels differently, please let us know.
Thanks Shirley - I'll give it a few days first.
Hi, What is the deadline of this seed swap?
Hi,
I would love to be included. Hope there's room for one more.
Jane
I am involved in Alices ws swap but if you need someone to fill a slot I can take one. let me know.
thanks
You are in Jane. UTlucky, the more the merrier. Let me know if you would like to join.
Hugeposiepatch - you would need to have the seeds to me by no later than November 1st. Would you like to be added to the list?
...................................................................................................
IS FAIR TO ALL..........PLEASE ALLOW ENOUGH MAILING TIME TO HAVE YOUR SEED TO ME IN TIME. I'll gladly accept them earlier :)
Thanks so much.

Yes, I would like to be added to the list. Thanks, Sandy
Great! You're in Sandy.
Count me in then. I am hooked on this stuff lol
Welcome aboard UT
Can it only be seeds for winter sowing or any type of seeds?
I could be persuaded to play. :) Okay, I got an E invite. LOL
Most seeds can be wintersown - which seeds do you have Badseed?
That's like asking how many hairs are on my head! LOL Some I can think of are hardy hibiscus, canna, Ratibida, daylilies, Cleome, Zinnia, Lemon Basil and whatever is in my seed box, etc.
Hi Anita,
I am in the other ws swap, but I can do this one too, if ya'll don't mind...
Connie
Hi Anita, I would like to participate if there's room.
Tif :-)
Welcome Connie and Tiff!!
You are funny Badseed - did you want to join us?
woo-hoo! thanks!
Is there room for me too.......
~Julie =0)
do you have room for me too?
I was just outside today gathering seeds. I'd like to join too please.
Sounds good - all three of you are in!!! Jab, Froggie and JB.
Holy cow - it's slow this morning when posting!! Anyway, I've added a request when you mail out your seeds and it is noted above. I would greatly appreciate a list of the seeds in your envelope - it will make it easier to make sure that everyone gets something different in their return envelope. Remember to use the small padded envelopes. We don't need the large ones and it's less postage - :). If you make sure you mail them no later than October 25th, then you can be assured that they will arrive to me on time.
I am looking forward to this - it should be fun!
I'd like to join, please, Anita. :o) Thanks!
When you say "small padded envelope", what size do you have in mind?
I would say around 4x7? I don't think we would need much bigger than that, right?
Your in Raingazer.
Ok, sounds good.
Whoops! If you were waiting for and answer from me, I'll play. ;)
You're in Badseed!
I would like to join if its not too late, Fran
