Here we where
http://davesgarden.com/forums/t/642051/

Wow on how many flowers that have been posted.
Just a reminder, DONT FORGET: add the sepals and some foliage when you add your flowers to PF if there is no pic posted as they can determine what you actually are growing in your garden.Info on size is another.

Thank you for sharing all your beauties hope you have enough for this tread too :0))

Janett , I haven't taken the time to search it out very well but after looking at a few of the old threads i think it just might be.
I lost a lot of tag's a few rain storms ago , next time I'll have to use my journal to help keep up with whats planted where.

I`m enjoying all the new pictures.

The white picotee is very pretty. The picture is neat because it looks like a black and white photo exept for the green leaves. I like it.

Here is one of mine that came out looking different. There was a streak of blue in the pink on the lower right side of the bloom. Is this a fluke or something different? I marked the bloom because it looks interesting.

tootsie - A Big Hello(!)

this flower looks like it is one of the larger flowered dwarfs...what are the leaves like(?)
http://pics.davesgarden.com/pics/tootsie_1156955407_429.jpg

blue purpurea..no specific name
http://pics.davesgarden.com/pics/tootsie_1156955980_738.jpg

Ipomoea purpurea Crimson Rambler type
http://pics.davesgarden.com/pics/tootsie_1156956101_865.jpg

This looks like it is from a blizzard that is showing a more solid color at the moment...possibly a Sazanami...
http://pics.davesgarden.com/pics/tootsie_1156957387_240.jpg

There's a mix from Japan that produces a wide banded purple shibori...some people may be calling it something else...maybe one of Emmas many Plum variations...
http://pics.davesgarden.com/pics/tootsie_1156958381_581.jpg

A light blue purpurea...I've always liked this light blue one...one of my favorite...some might call this a 'Sydney' or perhaps a 'Caprice' type
http://pics.davesgarden.com/pics/tootsie_1156959097_829.jpg

gardener2005 - yes, that could be a pink producing alittle blue or a blue producing alot of pink(!)...that happens sometrimes...sometimes it will pass on to the next generation and sometimes not...

Seedsower - I 'love' it
http://pics.davesgarden.com/pics/Seedsower_1156982946_667.jpg

Umi variant or possibly one of the purples that come out of the Early Call Mix...

Robbie-
My brother grew some white mgs, that he describes to look just like that. He kept saying they look like white star-shaped blooms with a lot of petals. He got them in Japan while visiting.
Are yours from Japan, also?

Westmoreland, TN(Zone 7a)

the white picotee is from the kikyozaki mix i got from Japan.
i love the shape of the bloom on them in any color they are beautiful.
last year i grew the blue and pink form of it and i loved them.

Baton Rouge area, LA(Zone 8b)

Thanks Ron. Please keep on writing your exhaustive posts! Some of us newbies trying to learn need the information and find it invaluable. Many thanks to you!

I`ll grow out the pod from that flower with the blue stripe "just to see".
