defoecat, what time can you get here???
Very good advice Jacci! I made one commitment and I have stood firm in it. I decided to not paint, decorate, etc until the other house sells. I don't want to try scrimp through and just get done and not have something I love. It has taken a long time and a lot of sacrifice to get here. I have given a lot of thought to where future things like an addition, a pool, where the larger deck will go and how big compared to the patio now and I have been careful to not do anything in those areas or only do minimal alterations so we won't have to back track.
I bought enough dirt when we moved here to do all the way around the foundation plus around the pond, trees and the long beds out front for the daylily beds. As soon as their is a break in finances, more dirt is on my list of gotta haves. I am also going to start a big compost bed and start begging the farmers for their poo!
And you know, knowing and doing are often two different things. :) Some days you just wake up with a goal and a plan and don't think about the proper steps until you are too far in or finished. Then you go "oh yeah". LOL
What I've been up to...as requested. LOL
Y'all are a great inspiration!
I hope to get some hardscaping done fefore I plant much at my new house.
