I believe summer doesn't officially begin (and Spring end) for another 3wks!

I have my firsts lily bloom today! Gotta bug my DH to down load the pictures now.

T, I feel so silly about alliums. My area is too hot for them, but I didn't know that when I dropped some bucks on 3-4 of these. They went crispy on me so quickly! I was able to transplant one to a shaded area, but it has disappeared.

Yours are beautiful.

Tammy, the Asiatic looks like 'Lollipop'. Mine are just showing small buds.
Any problems with the little red beetles?
Pretty.

Tammy I love the Batik.

No, from the bottom up! They are downward facing, so I put the camera up and I wasn't under that, so I just hoped I aimed it right!

most definitely a photo contest entry.

that is really a COOL PICTURE Kbaumle. Really cool.

No little red beetles that I've seen Andy. Should I be looking?
I got the lilies in a naturalizing mix.

We're in a heat wave here! Another few lilies popped open today.

ARGH!!! I had not heard of these. No sign of them but I have lilies all over my
property! I'll keep my eyes out for them now.

Freesia force well if you can grow them nice and cold. They bloomed for me in a sunny, chilly, windowed front room -- the kind that's on the second story, over the porch -- in Arlington, MA. I kept the windows open a crack at the far end of the room, where I was forcing pots of hyacinths, trying for 40 degrees at that end and 60 at the other. Great for freesia and anemones, too cold for morning glories.

Regroup, mates!
