Favorite Products Gone Like That....

Does anyone have a favorite product that's no longer available? I sure loved Jif's ChocolateSilk peanut butter but haven't been able to find it in about a year. I thought my store was just not buying it anymore but found out what happened to it on this link:

I have emailed Jif begging them to bring it back! It sure was a sweet thing!

Years ago we used to get this spinach pasta that was made by Kraft. You could get wagon wheels or popeye and olive oil. I loved that and would gobble it up with butter and salt.

I wish it were available for my children and grandchildren.

Body on Tap shampoo, that stuff smelled soooooooo good.

kraft boxed spagetti everything included for a single person. oh i used to eat it all the time.

The Chrismas tree color wheel that tru different colors on the tree or yard.

Bath & Body Works Pleasures "Green Tea and Cucumber Essence" Bubble Bath. I wasn't allergic to it and it was one of the few products that didn't make me smell like a perfume factory after taking a bath and it sure did help with dry skin in the winter.

Avon used to have this fabulous blue 'Gel' moisturizer that not only I liked, but my teenaged DS & DD loved it too.
It was cool and refreshing, wasn't oily and gloppy like some are.

I know there's a few other things I can't recall at the moment!

Little Debbie used to make a thing called "Teddy Berries". It was a little pastry that was shapped like a teddy bears head and had blueberry filling in it which you could see throught its eys and mouth.

Oh so sorry Frankay!! I sure feel that way when I pout to them about missing a product.

For a few years now I've mourned the loss of Bath and Body Works "Orange Blossom" lotion. It just smelled so fresh and springy.

Now I'm also mourning the loss of Nestea's unsweetened tea concentrate. I can't drink sweet tea, and this unsweetened tea concentrate was so close to fresh brewed tea. I could make a go cup full, add a couple slices of fresh lemon, and take out to the gardens with me. The powdered instant teas just don't make the cut, and I'm the only tea drinker in the family and I don't like it if it sits in the fridge for over one day, so I don't take the time to make it fresh every day. This was available the last few summers, but now it's not available anywhere, and I've even checked Nestea's website. :(

bacon thins, absolutely, and love's perfume, it was lavender colored and i wore that for years.

My mom misses the original Jovan Musk purfume.

I remember in the 90's when the changed the flavor of Sprite. It had been my favorite drink for a long time. I won't drink it anymore but think Sierra Mist captures the original Sprite flavor nicely.

Ah, remember New Coke? Yuk! That's one thing I don't think anybody misses.

I remember my mother using Avon perfumes To A Wild Rose and Honeysuckle Rose or was it just Honeysuckle. Anyhow, I loved that smell because it was my mother. A few years ago, she said she wished she could find some more of that. Avon did an anniversary special where they brought back small bottles of old time favorites. I bought them for my mother and it was like giving her a million bucks :)

i want Ben Hur candy. they looked and tasted like little gray licorice pillows that disintegrated in your mouth. i found what was supposed to be this old time favorite and ordered some online. yuk, not even close.

I thought the 'New Coke' tasted like Pepsi.....I don't miss it, either!!

My favorite perfume/cologne was called TRIBE.....it just came out in the early 90's, and has been discontinued.......I've found some online and on ebay, but it's like $50.00!!!

Used to get it for something like $7.95 in the early 90's!

They had it in a surplus store here a couple of years ago....I should have bought it all and sold it on ebay myself!

I've still seen Jovan Musk but Mom says the original isn't the same anymore and hardly anyone is carrying it. I had to find it for her at a drug store.

I'm upset that Calgon changed the scents of their body sprays. I love the peach one.....used it for years and then couldn't find it anymore. I looked online and found out it was discontinued. I did find a website that was selling 2oz "tester" bottles of it....I ordered 20 of them. I think I'm down to 3 or 4 left though...........need to see if they still have them.

SIgh. Long gone (at least in this area) Silkience shampoo and conditioner.
It squeezed out of the bottle like slime, but made my hair like silk!

Another hair care line - Milk Plus Six shampoo & conditioner in one.
The only all in one I've EVER been able to use and love.

The candy bar with seven different candy bars in one. Rumor has
it the name was Seven-Up, later discontinued to avoid confusion with
the soda.

Another one is Marathon bars. Last eaten at a fellow student's home in the 70's.

And how about Zotz candy? Remember that fizzy funky stuff in the center
of the candy?

avon-- sweet honesty, and one other forgot it now...

I have a perfume from victoria's secret bought late 90's, called voyages (something, can't read bottle anymore) vanille caramel...smelled just like cookies....I still have an eensy bit I use on special occasions, but boy, do I miss it..other vanillas are too cloying, but this, just like cookies.

I still love Victoria Secret's Vanilla Lace. I was known in the office for wearing this but one day no joke my boss walked by and she said, "Something smells like....cookies?" LOL. It was just me!

Twinings 4 berry tea....my favorite ice tea...history in Texas I guess, can't find it anywhere!

Funny you should mention the Vanilla....I 'slather' that Palmers cocoa butter lotion (smells like white chocolate) on all the time and I walked into work the other day and this "co-worker" (and I use that term loosely) told me I smelled good enough to eat. Now I date another guy I work with (although they are not aware of it work--they are kinda dense) and we were all 3 checking our mailboxes...I thought Michael was gonna come "unglued". Guess we need to watch what flavors we wear, huh? LOL

I love that stuff..(the palmer's)! I also use the cocoa butter in a tub on my legs in the summer..I don't get the lizard legs and I smell good.

I wish I could wear the vanilla lace, smells yummy in the bottle, but like many other scents it "changes" on me into something not good. (Not cookies..maybe cookies -n- bug spray? lol)

debbie. i was using 1 cocoa butter smelled like butter. the new brand we have Queen Helene (HUGE bottle from walmart) smells like coconuts?!

I miss Willy Wonka bar.. the one that was thick and crunchy.

I also miss Guava and Tangerine liquid bath soap, not sure who made it but it smelled so good.

Betty Crocker makes a cake mix AND frosting called: CHERRY CHIP.

Mom used to buy it for all my birthdays growing up in Michigan. We both moved down to Texas and NO ONE carries it!!!! It is still available as listed on their website but they said they can't control what the stores will carry due to limited space.

I think down here it is nixed in favor of STRAWBERRY flavored cake. =(
Soooo soooo sad.....wish I could find it.

Orange Clean Spray...It's listed on the site but I can't find it in any stores. I loved the product and the new one Kaboom just isn't the same.

LOL!!!!! That's what I'm saying: It's STILL available! Boo-hoo!!! I'll have to get my northern friends to send some when I've got another hankering. So strange. Do you have the strawberry mix up there? I just can't picture eating a fake strawberry flavored cake.
