Seeking arbor inspiration

Starzz your garden looks fabulous as always! Everyone remember her rough gazebo from the contest pics!?

This has been the best forum so far for sharing ideas and real life pics. You guys are doing an awesome job! I aspire to live up to you!

Ooooh, gorgeous! I am saving a copy of those 2 arbor pics to my ideas file, if you don't mind. Lots of great ideas in this thread!

You all put a grin on my face this morning, as I wake up with a tired old body. LOL

I have been raking and chopping up the fallen apples with the lawn tractor on my days off.

Dreaming that I can make this old garden look as good as it was in those pics.

This is a trellis made from 2x4's for the frame and garden stakes for the cross pieces.. I found the medallions on sale and used them for decoration at the top.

Happy gardening to you all.

TNN...thanks....:) the shade sure makes it awfully inviting this HOT afternoon....you hot too??? saw you over at the texas heat forum...:)

Houston, United States(Zone 9b)

Hehe, not to hot....just can't go outside! The AC makes up for it. =)

I've heard a lot since being on Dave's that when things say "Plant in FULL SUN" they don't mean in the sun at all in Texas. Rats! I'm still trying to adjust to planting in my zone. At least you are little higher up than me.

Crosbyton, TX(Zone 7a)

isnt that true......and in texas put suncreen on your plants(grin)

Midway, TX(Zone 8b)

And I've lived in Texas all my life. Should have known as a new gardener not to plant in full sun like the directions said. Very few of my plants get full sun.

Central FL, FL(Zone 9b)

Same thing in Florida...full sun doesn't mean full sun. :)

Sit down and prop your feet up Tir...Keep yourself and your "companion" cool. :))))
